As has OL Bruce Campbell. Campbell is a physical specimen (6'6" 320# with 4.75 speed), but never lived up to his athletic potential. I had a momentary thought that perhaps he might be worth a gamble as a swing tackle or tackle-guard, but probably not. I'm pretty sure he's not PS-eligible.

Releasing Kelly and Smith bodes very well for Joe Vellano and Jerel Worthy to make team. Anderson's release good for Davis/Morris.

Cuts also make me think that Easly, Jones, and Siliga are progressing nicely from their injuries.

When a player goes out and drinks to excess (he almost blew 2x the legal limit) 14 hrs before a game, that's not a good sign.

It's a shame, because Branch has some talent.

I think we'll need to be combing the waiver wire for a front seven player or two, but yes--no doubt, it certainly benefits Vellano. If Worthy pans out, that would be nice as well.

I was starting to get concerned about Anderson a couple of weeks ago.

Tommy Kelly being cut is a surprise. I don't believe a single person had him being cut in any of their projections.

Almost everyone had Will Smith gone.

Some people had James Anderson gone. After watching the Carolina game, I have to say that Anderson was invisible on Special Teams. That's never a good thing for a reserve LB. It will be interesting to see what happens there with the likes of Fleming, Beauharnais, Ja'Gared Davis, Morris, etc.

I thought you only found that kind of garbage behavior in the NHL. The more I learned how little those players put into individual games (my team did horrible in every party city they traveled to) the less I watched; if the players don't care why should I? The importance of every game, although lost on this individual, is why I love the NFL.

The Cardinals cut Jay Feely. With Prater getting that four game suspension, this could be a match with Denver.

Their will be alot of options to kick the tires on a few kickers I think this is the End of the road for Feely.

At least in the NHL and NBA they drink the night before the game. During baseball they just get hammered during it.

Can't blame them, I can't sit through a baseball game without heavy drinking either. Would be tough to get through 162 of them.

Kelly picked up by Green Bay in 3.. 2... 1...

I know he doesn't fit that 3-4 scheme perfectly but he is probably the best DT available right now.

Looks like it will be Gronk and Hooman at TE with Develin being able to do some things there. They could pick up some other TE that's released in the coming week.

The guy made over a million dollars and only started 2 NFL games. 10 Total tackles, and 1 pass defended.

I don't feel sorry for him.
