I seem to remember BB likes to do this (edit: in pre-season) -- take out one QB for a few plays (ie Brady). Simulate a game sitch where he might have to come out for a few plays then go back in.

Interesting, throwing Mallett right in without warning, stimulating gametime scenario. Probably last just a drive.

Just tuned in, hard to find much to complain about with that defensive series! We keep having tight coverage like that and Chandler Jones is gonna be gaining weight from all the sack lunches he'll be eating!

He did that with Hoyer 2 years ago, IIRC.

I swear with the new emphasis on the rules, I would go for it in a lot of 3rd and long and fourth and short situations because odds are good you will draw a flag.

BB likes to sub QB to get him used to coming in without notice. Every year.
