Tony Gonzalez: Denver Broncos will go undefeated, win Super Bowl

Didnt he predict the Falcons would go to the superbowl last year? That didnt work out too well

It's actually a fast track program, Fred personally teaches his students to dress like they are on jersey Shore and say stupid sh.t and off they go to pursue their careers.

I think there was a thread here asking what it would take for people to stop watching football. The Denver Broncos with Peyton as their QB going 19-0 would make me stop watching football. IMPROBABLE...

After reading what Tony NostraDumbAzz Gonzo predicted and finally put down his pipe,
This is why Broncos WILL NOT go undefeated this year:

I'm not gonna single out which game/s will do them in EXCEPT Week 9.
a Healthy Pats team runnin on all cylinders will be tough to beat.

I don't see why people are getting up in arms about this. If he'd said this about the Patriots, people would be defending him as if he were their child.

Denver's going to be a very good team, barring injury. There's no team on their schedule that they won't have a legitimate chance to beat.

I wouldn't be defending him if he said the Pats would go 16-0. It's just a lazy prediction. "That team's so good, they're not going to lose!" Seems like it was done more for attention than actual analysis.

No wonder I don't watch any pre-game shows and haven't in years.

Manning took that 2009 Colts team to 14-0 before Polian and the coaching staff pulled the plug on them. That team had a legit shot at 16-0, and this Broncos team is more talented than was that Colts team. If you don't think that the Broncos have a shot at 16-0, I don't know what to tell you. They've certainly got the talent to do it.

N.E., SF and SEA also have the talent to do it.

I agree those teams have the talent to do it. Each team is capable of winning each game they'll play in, barring major injuries. I'm predicting 13-3 from NE but can absolutely see something like 15-1 if they stay healthy at all the key spots.

Whenever any analyst predicts a team to go 19-0 is subject to ridicule. Why? Because it has never happened in the history of the game.

Everyone here used to make fun of Fred Smerlas when he made those predictions about the Pats even in 2007 when they were a minute and a fluke helmet catch away from proving him right. Why is Gonzalez immune to that?

I have no problem with an analysts picking the Broncos to be the best team in the NFL and winning the Super Bowl. I may not agree with them, but the Broncos are good enough to be in the discussion. But to predict they are going to go 19-0 especially since they have nine games against 2013 playoff teams on their schedule just shows that Gonzalez is a lightweight and needs to hone his analyst chops if he wants anyone to take him seriously.

In 2009, the Colts had a cake schedule. The AFC South sucked, they faced the NFC West before any of those teams got good, and they faced the AFC East that also sucked (and the Pats had a down year with Brady returning from an ACL). This year, their schedule is brutal at least on paper.

And even if the Colts could have gone 16-0 that season, they would have still lost the Super Bowl and there is no guarantees that if they did that schedule again with all things being equal that they would have won all the games they did. During that season, they beat the Pats by a point and the Pats had a sizable lead in the fourth quarter. In that game, the Colts scored the winning TD with 16 seconds left and only had the ball in New England's territory because of the infamous 4th and 2 play by the Pats. If Faulk catches that pass, the Colts would have been 13-1 when the coaching staff decided to rest the starters.

Gonzalez obviously sucks at his new job. He should quit and come play TE for the Patriots.

Certainly done entirely for attention. Look how he managed to irritate the fans of the other 31 teams! All this before the season started. :)

PS: I have a feeling that he did this just to put the pressure on Manning. :D

If healthy, we can go undefeated.

I think we'll have arguably the best O I the Game and a top 5 defense

Gonzalez just changed his prediction to the Broncos or Seahawks will go undefeated. Talk about moving goal posts. I don't respect you, Tony.
