It's easy, and only takes a few moments. In my opinion it is very unlikely that Boyce would clear waivers and make it onto the practice squad. The Browns or another WR needy team would likely put a claim in. On a side note if Boyce is eligible I would have to assume that Jake Bequette is as also eligible now. With the new rules he is eligible for the PS. Question is would he clear waivers? I lean towards no.
Each club will be permitted to sign a maximum of two Practice Squad players who have earned no more than two accrued seasons of free agency credit.
Based on their recent transaction history, Worthy and Maneri would seem to have good chances of clearing waivers if cut.
Also - is it possible if Boyce were to tweak an ankle (or get some type of minor injury) we just stash him on IR?
He ran a 4.3 40. There are plenty of teams that would take a flyer on a WR/KR who is that fast. Most teams don't have 5 capable WRs.What has he ever done to make people think he wouldn't clear waivers? I haven't seen him do much of anything to warrant him making the 53 of the Patriots or any other team.
4th round pick last year injured in his first year but came back to assume KR duties and made a couple of plays showing his speed and agility. Too early to say he won't develop so still some upside. The same reasons you would put him on the PS.What has he ever done to make people think he wouldn't clear waivers? I haven't seen him do much of anything to warrant him making the 53 of the Patriots or any other team.
