@MarkDanielsPJ
James Anderson picked off Brady on a pass intended for Amendola.

@DougKyedNESN: Brady was 9-11 in 7-on-7s, 13-18 in 11-on-11s, Mallett 7-8 in 7s, 6-10 in 11s, Garoppolo 4-5 in 7s, 5-8 in 11s.

TE Rob Gronkowski taking another step in his progression, participating in 11-on-11 drills for first time. Lot of balls thrown his way.

Rob Gronkowski now part of 11-on-11 work, makes nice grab over the middle on a ball from Tom Brady. #Patriots

Gronk takes his first full team reps late in practice. He was very active today. Caught a ton of Beady passes.

This can't be true, Bedard said Gronk was limping around on one leg like a flamingo in practice just last week.

Nice to see James Anderson practicing well, hopefully he'll stick. The depth behind the top 3 LBs looked terrible in preseason so far.

No, I mean he was specifically drafted to be a "press corner." Since his defense hadn't been implemented anywhere (as far as I know) people thought he was daft to use a guy at corner who wasn't even a great safety in college (was a RB as much, I believe).

The League was different then. There was not a great number of big WRs. There were lots of small quick studs, Holt, Bruce, Glenn, Harrison etc, so the need for a BIG Press CB was not as needed. The rules to control Mel Blount were still hurting big CBs.

Petey may have been before his time.

Nice to see the health of the team improving with Gronk and Easley participating in 11 on 11s and Hooman and Stork returning.

Edit: and Mayo returning

GRONK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any videos of Gronk working 11 on 11?!

Gronk going contact and Easley dominating? Awesome.

Getting Hoomanawanui back is relevant as well.
He's been out a lot. His 2013 experience included catching about a dozen passes.
When Gronk's not in, he's the TE on the field. Getting him more reps is important.

Would also be nice to see someone other than left tackles running TE routes for a change.

Other than Sebastian being out, today has been the single healthiest day for the Patriots in years.

Boy, am I glad that I missed that report. I've got enough stress in my life ;) That would have set me over the edge.

Is it just me or is Brady throwing a bunch of int's this preseason so far, including practice?
