Hard to say what 7th round WR could do at this point to compete, but it's interesting about Worthy. If "passed physical" means "ready to go", there's a pretty good window right now.

If they practice, they will become ineligible for the PUP list.

I do agree. If Worthy is healthy, he certainly has a good shot at making the roster.

I think with how far behind Gallon is compared to the rest of the receivers he looks like a likely PS candidate at this point, too many other guys have stepped up.

It'll be interesting to see how Worthy performs. He'll have a shot, especially with Jones and Siligna missing time.

Probably not great news for Gallon.
Worthy has a shot given the amount of 3-4 fronts they've been displaying.

Worthy is not a two gapper. Which means he may have problems in the 3-4. He will likely be a situational pass rusher.

Why is being healthy a bad thing for Gallon? He's way behind the other WR's but I'm sure getting any time at all will help him catch on to a practice squad at minimum. You can't make anyone's club from the tub.

He's a 3-4 end.

He can be if they:

1. Continue using the 3-4 in the regular season.

2. Run out of other bodies due to injury.

But, since I think both of those aspects are unlikely to happen, he'll probably be used as a 3-tech situational sub-rusher.

He's a 3-4 end.

No, no he is not. The reason GB traded him is because he wasn't working out as a 3-4 End. He's a 3 tech DT in a 4-3 which is much different than 3-tech DE in a 3-4. He was dominant at DT in college.

It's purely based on name recognition at this point, but I'm drooling over the prospects of a 3rd and long DL of Chandler Jones-Easley-Worthy-Ninkovich.

Only if Jones and Silga can't go.

What makes you say that exactly...?
Paying attention to what they've been running all training camp and preseason. Looking at what base fits their personnel better.

I think Gallon is well suited to this offense. Did you guys see him at Michigan?

Does everyone think Jeremy Gallon would be safe on the practice squad? Can't other teams yoink him if they wanted him?

I forgot all about Jeremy Gallon. Here's a refresher:

He's wide open a lot. Either he runs great routes, or college DBs suck. I think it's the latter.

I'm not sure where he fits with the current group. At Michigan, his kick and punt return duties dropped to zilch, unlike Finch who was a wizard at Oklahoma.

Bigger news is Justin Jones is back!
