So.. are we really sticking with what we have at TE?

Show me an article that states the New England Patriots are returning to a two tight end offense.
Are you trolling me individually here? What part of I don't believe the Patriots should return to the 2 TE offense don't you understand?
Depth.

Just saw Kelce score for KC boy would he look good in a pats uniform. Maybe BB can pull one over on KC and get them to trade him to us.

I'm surprised by some of the names on that list.
How can Mark Sanchez have a job but Josh Freeman not?
Zoltan Mesko didn't even get invited to a camp?
Brian Leonard, Erik Winston, Incognito-lol, James Harrison, A$ante $amuel, Donta Robinson.
A bunch of other guys too, but I'm assuming age/injury for a lot.
Funny how just a few years ago those guys would've been top market FA's. Just shows how quick things change in the NFL once a players past his prime..

I'm assuming you're not one who feels very optimistic about picking up someone who gets cut during final cuts or a potential trade, are you? Since you continue to ignore that statement I made.
How did that work in the recent past for Kellen Winslow Junior or Visanthe Shiancoe after missing all but the first week of training camp?

All you are doing is just *****ing about the tight end situation when you obviously realize that alternatives are no better.

But I'm confused about your bitterness towards this, and what you call "*****ing". I was just analyzing what we have at TE and stating how it appears very thin going in and wondering if there could be any alternative going into the season over the next few weeks.

Quote my original post and tell me where I'm coming off as *****y, forum expert.

You were provided a list of alternatives, yet you still complain:

Enjoy Justin Jones, it is what it is.

No idea who exactly, I just know teams are currently at a 90 man roster, so about 37 players will be cut from each team within the next few weeks. Do the math. While many of them may not be much better than what we currently have, there are a few names or at least interesting prospects at TE that are bound to get cut during cutdowns. This is a competitive league.

Name me one team with four great tight ends. If not, all you are doing is just a continuation of a ***** fest.

When did I say we had to sign a "great" TE??

You know, if this thread really bothers you, thread ignore is always an option. You seem to be the only one who has a big problem with this thread.

OK, I will celebrate our depth. Our starting TE was signed last week. Our backup signed today. The rest are injured.

When we discuss the DT situation, we understand the importance of depth, injuries, backups, and players who can play only if there are a couple of injuries. When we discuss the TE situation, we are fine with 3 injured players and a couple of players signed in the last 10 days.

Use of Devlin at TE/FB along with Hooman and Gronk should work. Gives another player a shot at making the roster.
Yes, if Gronk and Hooman are healthy, we are fine. Develin and/or Hooman can be hbacks. Also, Solder or Cannon can be the blocking 3rd TE.

However, Gronk and Hooman are not healthy.

Does the quality or quantity of depth wr cut matter?
Gronk is 1
Hooman is 2
We may or may not have a 3

You have done no research whatsoever. You have provided no plausible alternatives. All you do is *****.

The New England Patriots re-signed Justin Jones. Live with the reality of the situation.
