He just doesn't have any sense of urgency for a guy who is on the bubble. He still makes too many mistakes for a guy who has been around for over a year now. He will flash here and there but then he fades into the background. Injuries sure haven't helped his case. Reminds me a bit of Taylor Price in that regard.
Meanwhile, Tyms came out of nowhere and might steal Boyce's spot. Tyms would be a tough guy to cut. If you were to ask me who will help the team more this season, I would say Tyms at the moment. He has good size and he's catching a lot of deep passes, which offers good variety from our "pygmy" WR's. Tyms downfield blocking has also been really good tonight.
Jonas Gray has had a couple nice runs tonight as well. Someone to keep an eye on. Could be competing with Bolden and Finch for that last RB spot.
I think it's safe to say that he WILL be apart of this team, during the regular season!! And what about this Tyms kid with that TD catch...just wow!!! Definitely reminds me of Moss...he needs to be on the roster, as well!!
Browner who? Wonder if he is having déjà vu from last year with the likes of Thurmond and Maxwell in Seattle.
Honestly Butler plays the ball and the receiver clean and just has a nack for being in the right spot to make the play. I'm cheering big time for the underdog.
Tymes os suspended for 4 games so the decision won't be for a while and injuries may decide it when the time comes. Same with Butler making it for sure until Browner's 4 weeks are up. Then we'll see.Everything I've seen says Tyms>Boyce. The only way Boyce makes it over Tyms is if the Pats decide that the 6th receiver isn't as important as having that kick returner. Or they decide to go with 7 wr's. Isn't Slater listed as a Wr on the depth chart too?

Why is this stuff only crazy when I say it?He's looked like our 2nd best CB in preseason/training camp so far.
He will make the team
True, but NOW is Boyce's chance to show something and prove himself. With Tyms being suspended for the first 4 games, I'm not convinced that it's an either/or. The real decision, if it comes down to one of the two of them, doesn't really need to be made until week 5.
Its true though. Browner hasn't looked great in the past 2 games, and Dennard hasn't played. Ryan is being moved around between S and CB. Butler meanwhile has been on fire. Why is this stuff only crazy when I say it?

Keep supporting him. You just look smarter and smarter while others look more and more clueless. No names need be mentioned.
