I understand making things a "point of emphasis" but the Refs need to make sure they get the call correct..
The "illegal hands to the face" call on Cannon was BS. Cannon got ONE hand on the guy and it was at the guy's shoulder..
They didn't call the facemask on Philly when they took Ridley down. They haven't called any of the O-line holds on Philly's O-line.
While it wasn't an intentional grounding on Foles, it sure as hell was "in the grasp" and should have been called a sack..
On the "Illegal formation" call, Both Matt and the Ref got it wrong. The TE (Maneri) was off the LOS by more than a yard. So the Pats only had 6 men on the Line if you didn't include LaFell. Maneri's helmet was lined up with the LTs waist and the LT was more than half a yard back from the LOS.
Now. That being said..
Develin's play continues to improve. So does Butler's.
White needs to stop running into the pile. He needs to give the play time to develop.. He's off by about half a second, IMHO.
I'll have to go back and look at the blocked punt but the Eagles sure pulled one over there..
Interesting to see the Pats rotating O-line players so much. I've seen Cannon, Vollmer, and Solder lining up at both tackle positions.
The lack of qualified TEs seems to be hurting the team..
Sucks to see anyone get injured but it would seem that Karma bit Cary Williams in the arse..
