I was looking at ticketExchange stuff to see what was available at the moment, and I saw the following language on the page:
ticketExchange said:
The Patriots TicketExchange is a service that lets you purchase Patriots tickets for seats not being used by Season Ticket Members. NOTE: If electronic delivery is available to your account, tickets purchased on the Ticket Exchange can only be printed 72 hours prior to kickoff on Account Manager.

Is that new? It's been a couple of years since I've looked at what tE has available and I don't recall language like that. I assume it means that the system won't let you print out the tickets any earlier than three days before kickoff. I further assume they're trying to cut down on scalping since you won't have the ticket bytes in your hands earlier than three days out.

I printed tickets to the bengals game and jets game already...so not sure what that means

Hmm. Maybe it means the opposite of what I thought? That you can only print out tickets if it's more than 72 hours before a game and if you buy tE tickets after that you need to pick them up at Will Call? That'd be rather annoying.

Not allowed for pre-season games. Anyone interested in a couple for tomorrow shoot me a PM.

I used seat geek instead of ticket exchange for my tickets to the kc pats Monday nighter in kc. Compared both and seat geek had better seats for a cheaper price.

I was able to print mine 2 days after purchase.

KC must have a hard time selling tickets? When tix are below face value then the demand isn't there

I sent an email to the ticket office and here's what they sent back:
Thank you for your email and your feedback. We have forwarded it along to our management team. For clarification, you will be able to print any tickets purchased on the ticket exchange 72 hours or less before kickoff. Please let us know how we can be of any further assistance.

Best Wishes,
Gillette Stadium Ticket Office

So that's from the horse's mouth. Though it beats me, then, how people are printing out tickets weeks to months before games.

These tough internet tekkie issues must require a Tufts engineering degree to address
