Raiders could be moving to Texas?

So in a couple years will we have?
  • San Antonio Raiders
  • Los Angeles Rams
  • London Jaguars

LA is the only one to really deserve a team IMO being such a big city with no team. If Raiders move to SA...they will still have a huge following from the bay area and new fans...london..just no

Can we bring the Raiders to NY and send the JEST to San Antonio instead? :)

The Raiders should move. The marriage to Oakland has been a disaster by ownership and the city. So many lies comes from both sides it's hard to know who is telling the truth. The stadium is easily one of the worst in all of sports and there isn't enough security to police the gangs and low life's that attend. It's so bad that a lot of the die hard fans don't go because of there own fans and the poor stadium.

If the As sign that lease..they will have to build their own stadium right?

Raiders are going to LA, the only thing that's holding that back right now is the Commish and the other 31 owners have zero faith that a Mark Davis run team is the one that should land in L.A.

Regarding San Antonio, JJ already came out and said how great a Cowboys town is SA. He's gonna stop any team trying to go their.

Will he try to raid the Raiders?

I would hate to see the Jags go, that is a nice easy trip for me, and a pretty nice set up. You can either walk or take a water taxi to the stadium from pretty much every hotel in downtown Jacksonville. I still can't believe (just from a business standpoint) why the Jags did/have not signed Tebow. Its like they don't want to fill their stadium and sell jerseys.

I think London is going to happen. Just because the NFL wants it to.

I don't think that Jerry Jones would allow anyone to move to San Antonio. He would call in ever favor he has with all the other owners to protect his turf!

Can we officially start calling Mark Davis, Smithers? I agree that he has no business running an NFL franchise, and LA is too big of a market to just hand over to him.

The Jags just invested in two of the largest video boards in the NFL at each end of the stadium and knocked out the tarped sections to implement pool side cabanas to (thus far) rave reviews. They also at least appear to be in the process of putting a competent team together with an owner that's not pushing the head coach to rush their rookie quarterback onto the field. It's hard to see a scenario where the Jags are the team that moves to London.

Report: Raiders ramp up efforts to relocate | ProFootballTalk

Whether it’s San Antonio or somewhere else, the Raiders seem to be serious about moving the franchise to a place other than Oakland.

Via Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle, owner Mark Davis “is stepping up his efforts” to find a new stadium in a new city, as talks to keep the team in its current town languish.

Tafur also reports that Davis apparently has the NFL’s support. Of course, the destination ultimately selected by Davis will determine whether 23 other owners approve a move.

I'd like the Raiders to move back to LA and fill the biggest void in the NFL. Can't picture them outside of California. Then the NFL can consider crazy things like a franchise in London.
