Mallett might be hurt more then Patriots would inform about. That sayed, Jimmy G takes it and runs with it right now. WHO knows, Patriots might end up IR Mallett ;)
That's a good point. I haven't heard a lot about it, but maybe he was hurt last in weeks game. I didn't get a good look at the game because issues with first row sports. But all indications point to el stinko. :(

For what? If you IR him he's done for the season, and this is his last year with the team. You gain nothing by IR'ing him, might as well cut him at that point.

If he's on IR he can't be picked up by the Jets, who will then pump him for info.

Of course you do, if you think a play's over.

Really? On what planet is that true?

They had an NFL officiating crew there.

You don't give up until you hear the whistle.

It's football.

@pfwpaul: Still no full team for Gronk but Dennard was involved

Wrong.

I don't think Perry was calling plays down, just throwing flags.

Regardless I don't get the sense it was the type of play that he would get called out on.

@InBostonSports: First team O out there. Skill guys all drive: White Develin Thompkins Edelman Amendola. Develin lining up with his hand down at TE.

Yes, really, and it's true on this planet. IF YOU THINK THE PLAY IS OVER, you stop.

This isn't rocket science.

Anyone no whats up with Mayo? He is not at practice again today.

For some reason, I was under the impression that today was the first absence, although I could be wrong. I missed it if he wasn't there yesterday either.

Of course you do, if you think a play's over.

I've always been taught you play until the whistle... not when the play has just been really, really long. From everything I've read, I've seen nothing about a whistle being blown. Perhaps I'm missing a report?

You don't always hear the whistle. If you think the play's over, you stop. If you don't, you end up hitting someone and drawing a 15 yard penalty.

At this point I doubt Butler makes it on the PS. You need to keep him on the 53 or lose him. Tyms is getting close to that too. The only reservation I still have about Tyms is he has not lit it up with Brady yet. From what I have read is Brady has not really thrown to him much in the limited snaps they have had.
Oh Lord, here we go again.

Sounds like today was the first day in TC the Pats D got beat...hey those are great odds!

Seems like a leap in logic. Revis didn't have to hit Maclin. He could have stayed stride for stride with him until the receiver let up as well.
