That's a good point. I haven't heard a lot about it, but maybe he was hurt last in weeks game. I didn't get a good look at the game because issues with first row sports. But all indications point to el stinko.

I don't think Perry was calling plays down, just throwing flags.

Regardless I don't get the sense it was the type of play that he would get called out on.

I've always been taught you play until the whistle... not when the play has just been really, really long. From everything I've read, I've seen nothing about a whistle being blown. Perhaps I'm missing a report?

You don't always hear the whistle. If you think the play's over, you stop. If you don't, you end up hitting someone and drawing a 15 yard penalty.

Seems like a leap in logic. Revis didn't have to hit Maclin. He could have stayed stride for stride with him until the receiver let up as well.
