Dobson and Easley look like they are off the PUP - in uniform today

A lot of comparisons to Collins year last year and it's logical to think that way due to the injury but I am hoping for more than that from him.

Maybe not week 1 but no reason to think that he can't have a more regular role through most of the season than Collins did last year.

My hope is that he is a regular 3rd down player and sooner rather than later.

Yeah, I'm actually more worried about Dobson from a health perspective. ACLs are serious business, but at this point more predictable than foot injuries, especially the kind that require bone screws.
Same here. More worried with dobson

Well the Great Julio Jones who had a similar surgery is said to be cutting well granted his surgery was well before Dobson's...reason for hope.

Curran: "Brady intercepted by Nate Ebner when ball glanced off of Josh Boyce's outstretched hands."

The End Times are nigh!

Boyce not helping himself by getting Brady Wicked Pissed!

Any news on how they're looking in practice

According to Miguel, he has the second highest cost of release on this team (behind Brady).
If released today and not on this team, he would still make more from the Patriots in his dead cap money than most of us will make across the rest of our careers.

He's not going to be released this pre-season.

Umm.. Not sure how you can say that Arrington has the 2nd highest cost of release behind Brady even based on Miguel's numbers. Cutting Arrington would save the Pats about 505K. Cutting Brady wouldn't save the Pats any money at all.. It would cost them more. There are 8 other players like that.

So, could you explain what you mean by "cost of release"?

Today's CSNNE camp blog by Curran...

Postcard from Patriots camp: Day 13

Looking at that list, people clearly are over-looking the fact that Boyce had numerous catches and not just the one off his hands for the interception.. Boyce had 6 other receptions during practice.. 2 from Brady and 4 from Garappolo.

The Patriots put up a picture of Easley on Facebook. He actually looks thinner than he did in college, which was surprising to see.

That's definitely not Kyle Love wearing #74 today.

That's bad.

Easley was already undersized in College.

Well i'm not really seeing any difference

Not that much really. He was just a few pounds under what a 3-tech DT is in todays league. The days of the Wilfork size DT being what you strive for in your starters is really going away. The best DTs today are around 295-300lbs. So yes he should probably add some mass. But not that much. McCoy and Atkins both came into the league just a few pounds heavier than Easley.

The defense is slimming down in the NFL. Linebackers are getting smaller too. Guys like Hightower are oversized while Collins is about the new normal size.

Dobson has the tools to become a top WR in this league. Size etc. Let's hope he becomes one

In a perfect world, Dobson becomes the #1 WR and Edelman #2.

Id be much more happy if Edelman were #3 WR and #4 target. Don't get me wrong I love the guy but really want the big dudes to come on strong

easley was 288 lbs at 6' 1 3/4" at combine
seymour was only 299 at 6' 6 1/4"

whatever weight allows easley to be the most explosive....they will obviously use him at both DT and DE
