That was very well edited with multiple view replays and HD.

MrNathan, if it's your work, nice job.

Not my work. Can't take credit for it.

Found it on reddit and wanted to share.

11-12
210 Yards
2 TD

Tyms was a TD.
If Jones catches the ball that's easily a 15 yard completion.

Which means his only incompletion would have been that wheel route that the 5' 7" Roy Finch would have probably had if he was 3 inches taller.

Then he lost a couple more chances after Houston fumbled the football after that big gain

Thanks for sharing. Lots of spot-on throws there, of many different varieties. Even that EZ throw to Boyce was pretty accurate — pretty good for a QB running right and throwing left.

Hope BB gives him a chance to face the Eagles 2s.

For comparison sake, Blake Bortles is getting wide NFL accolades for his play against the 2nd stringers

Garropolo's numbers are as good if not better - and yes there were a few key drops and I saw nothing in the replay to indicate that wasn't a TD

The kid definitely deserves a look-see with the #1's and 2's

Thanks for this video. Saved it to my favorites. Nice to see Garoppolo play in his first NFL game, and see him look good. Great highlight in a rather horrendous Pat's performance.

Brady 1 series with the 1's
Mallett 1 series with the 1's and a couple with the 2's
JAG close out the game

1:10 shows that he made the second catch and 1:30 shows that the ball never initially hit the ground plus the look on the guys face at the end of the Redskins bench was priceless which also makes me think he caught it :) "Ooooh!"

Wow....

I am impressed. He looks like a shorter, young, more mobile TB ;)

We can all dream big right?

He seemed to be going through his progressions well instead of just eyeing down his #1 receiver Geno Smith style

When looking at a QB don't pay too much attention to the level of competition, look at how natural they look.

TFB looks natural and everything is fluid.
You can see that with Garoppolo.
Mallett & Tebow everything looks unnatural and forced/robotic as 2 examples to compare against.

Wow, I missed the game and only saw the NFL.com "highlights", but wow. Jimmy G looked very good.

I really want to see him play against 2's next week playing WITH better players, too. ....also, damn, Tyms. I would love to keep him on the practice squad but if he keeps playing like he did in that game he'll easily get claimed when cut, unfortunately.

If he plays like that for the next 3 pre-season games, he's making the team.

He's suspended the first 4 games anyways, so if theres an injury (which there always is) Tyms could have that roster spot.

I hope he's given the chance to play against a higher level of competition first, the redskins starting DBs aren't even good, let alone their 3rd string. He needs to play against NFL quality DBs before he knocks even Boyce off of the roster.

I didn't get to see the game, but I understand now why people were critical of Mallet after watching this video. Garoppolo is not only reasonably accurate for a first-timer, he's mobile, and appears to be going through his reads even under pressure. I don't know what people have seen in camp, but this game is really impressive, just from what we've seen. Maybe he's the kind of guy that rises to the level of the competition. (ie he got better in real-game situation)

The thing I liked most is he's not trying to play like TB12. Seems like all our past backups have really tailored their playstyle to be Tom 2.0. This guy seems to be playing within his own game. Given that he appears fairly mobile and the offense is designed to be uptempo this could pay huge dividends down the road.

Small sample size, but I couldn't like him more. Don't think I've been this excited about any of our other draft QBs during the TB12 era.

yup. some people fail written tests, but you put them on the job hands-on and they can do it no problem.

There will be no running around if he becomes the backup.
