Hopefully tonight's game puts to rest such ridiculous notions in addition to the thought that they'd get anything in return other than a ham sandwich and a bag of chips.

I heard this talk about Cassel in 2008 when he played like crap all preseason. He ended up being the starting QB for 15 3/4 games that year.

Let's not write off Mallet just yet.

During warmups at Gillette he looks like such a beast size wise ... it's a shame really.

time for some in the G-Man thread to think about cooking a crow or two.

Got to have one of these per year for entertainment IMO ... I mean pre season games are worse than ever. Mallett will make the team ... stay until the trade deadline at least.

Maybe one day for the Jest.

I think it is a waste to keep 3 QBs on the roster. So if JAG shows a pulse just release Mallet. He will be a UFA next year anyway. I would much rather have an extra TE or DT or OL. We need help in other areas.

IF TB goes down it wont matter who is back there.

But seriously, Cassel also looked bad throughout the pre-season. The he made the team and everyone went WHAT??????? All the kewl kidz, you see, were G-Boyz and thought their binky was da shizzle.

Then Brady went down.......

Of course, I'll say this much for Gorropolo: he didn't look nervous at all. For his first ever NFL game, either as a fan in the stands or a player on the field, he was Mr Kool. I like that.

Mallett looks good in practice because he is not getting hit, but during the games, he is scared to get hit, to quick to get rid of the ball before going through his reads.
