For anybody that has watched, are these interceptions by Garoppolo due to the fact that he's staring down his primary read or are they just piss poor plays by both him and the receivers in general? By my count, he's thrown at least one INT in every single practice.

Brady.. the real Heisenberg.

Cooking that crystal Patriot blue..

Gruden said watching Brady is like “Poetry in motion. Hall of Famer, the best of all time.”

Tom Brady completed 12 of 16 passes in 7-on-7s and 21 of 31 in 11-on-11s. Brady’s incompletions today included a blown-up screen, two throwaways, a batted pass and three drops.

Brady's targets today: Danny Amendola (10 of 11), Julian Edelman (8 of 9), Brandon LaFell (6 of 7), Kenbrell Thompkins (4 of 6), Shane Vereen (1 of 5), James White (1 of 1), Stevan Ridley (1 of 1), Wilson Van Hooser (1 of 1), Josh Boyce (1 of 1), Justin Jones (0 of 1). Four incompletions didn't have an intended target.

Over two days of team drills, Brady completed 60 of 80 passes.

Ryan Mallett was 7 of 9 in 7-on-7s and 8 of 13 in 11-on-11s.

Jimmy's version of struggling: Can't read NFL defenses, the speed of the game is too fast for him, causing the INTs IMO. He thinks the WRs are open, except these aren't FCS CBs covering them.

He has good footwork, mechanics, and release. It's not as if he's throwing the ball way over WR's heads or in the dirt. His decision making is just horrid at this stage.

In 3 quick years, he went from a mediocre FCS QB to one of the greatest ever. Granted I'm biased (ask manx, etc in the draft forum, Garoppolo was my binky, I even had him #10 on my bigboard :D ), give him 2-3 years to learn to read defenses, make decisions at the NFL level and IMO we will have a solid QB.

Just back from the practice today...

Left the house @ 10, got in the facility around 12:15. It was already packed.
  • They did Redskins receivers against our DB's one on one right in front of us placing the ball on the 15, my over all impression was the redskins won most of the contests (revis got beat at least once, browner at least once, although the receiver may of been out of bounds). One of our guys (sorry, couldnt tell who) got his underwear twisted off.
  • Punting. Looked to me like Allen was off all day. He had one booming punt, but the rest was underwhelming. From my vantage point at least one, perhaps 2 would of been blocked in a real game.
  • 11 on 11's. Brady for the most part was..well, Brady. At one point they went hurry up for 3 plays in a row, and I was watching the 40 second clock..all the plays were snapped with 30 - 32 seconds left on the play clock. When this offence gets rolling, its an awesome site.
  • When it was Mallets turn, all I could hear from redskin fans around me...what an arm.
I have some crappy video's that I may post later...I am not the best with a cell phone :)

Boyce had better be one hell of a return man.

Or maybe he has really good upside but isn't ready to compete for a starting job yet after missing most of last season.

Or we could declare him a bust after 10 practices.

My comment was in terms of a depth chart. He seems pretty clearly to be a distant 6th. Upside doesn't mean a thing if he gets cut.

Man I wish this would have been the year the Pats did Hard Knocks.
That'll never happen. A team can refuse if they just made the playoffs. So until that happens you can bet your ass they'll keep refusing

Obviously. Just wish it would have happened.
