Cary Williams doesn't like practicing with the Patriots because "they are cheaters"

I just saw this on the crawler on the NFL network. Worse than Williams's 5th grade level comments is the ever renewed "cheating" label we have to put up with. Spygate is the most over-blown "scandal" in the history of the NFL and creeps like this always add fuel to the fire. A whole new round of cheating talk again begins and ahole media and fans are either too stupid or too disingenuous to put in proper perspective. We sooooo have to get another Superbowl. It won't kill the cheater label but it will quiet it a little at least. This annoys the **** out of me.
Think about the fact that you saw this on the NFL Network., an arm of the NFL. Not ESPN or FSN1. The NFL official television rep. Tells me the league believes it and will screw the NEP every time the opportunity arises. Anyone who believes otherwise also believes in Santa Claus...

Chip should do a bro-move for Bill and fire him for being ridiculous.

Interesting take from Reiss:
Eagles cornerback Cary Williams’ comments about not wanting to hold joint practices with the Patriots confirmed what I thought last year -- Williams deliberately took himself out of practice by jumping then-rookie receiver Aaron Dobson in one of the more classless moves I’ve witnessed in NFL training camp. When the Eagles come to town next week for another set of joint practices, here’s hoping Eagles coach Chip Kelly leaves Williams back in Philadelphia.

Quick-hit thoughts around NFL & Pats - espnBoston

The good news for Patriots haters, they have another low life player taking up the mantle for the "They haven't won a Super Bowl since Spygate". Notice how there are very few good character players questioning the Pats other than maybe some Rams and Steelers players who can't get over the fact they were beat by a team that was just better that day.

And the whole "Haven't won a Super Bowl since Spygate" is so stupid. Did Spygate cause David Tyree to catch the luckiest helmet catch in NFL history?

For all the talk about "Spygate" I find it interesting the NFL will be providing all teams with a Microsoft Surface 2 tablet that can give you instant views of the defense or offense your opponent used last series.

The above is a link to the article. This seems to be even more advantageous then possibly viewing film you got from a game.

Bill should let Browner run some routes against him.

It also didn't cause Welker to drop the pass

I usually come back with "so does Peyton Manning."

All I worry about are cheap shots when I hear things like this. And with Browner on the team, who by all accounts is a mauler, the tone is already going to be more physical. As much as I want to see this team get better by competing hard in these practices, I don't want to lose any of our guys. Even Reiss talked about it and said he's hoping Chip leaves this guy in Philly. Here's to hoping it stays clean.

I was watching some of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony last night and saw the same thing, that the blurb about Williams and his comments would show up every couple of minutes as part of the crawl rotation.

I know some people say Patriots fans keep this story going by reacting to this stuff, but when the NFLN features this story in their crawl during their most significant "live" event since the draft, I don't think it's Patriots fans that are keeping this story alive. I'm not saying the NFLN should have completely ignored it, but the story came out Friday afternoon. It's not a new topic. It's not a new take on the subject. Williams isn't a prominent or well-known player. Why keep running it on Saturday evening, especially when I didn't see any mention of the HOF game in the crawl (No basic game info, no coaches comments, no news on how long the QBs would play, who was being held out due to injury, etc.)?

Its for controversy. Controversy always gets ratings up. Checked out google for the different sites reporting the story and in the comments sections there is the expected renewed enthusiasm over Patriot cheating...most included stuff pulled out of their azz like filming actual opponents practices, the Rams walk-through and Brady having a closed circuit special frequency receiver in his helmet so he could be radioed in what the defense was running next. Fan forums are having orgasms over Williams's comments as well. I'm afraid we will never be rid of this. I just wish some respected brave journalist would do a special in prime time debunking the spygate scandal.

Once again the Spygate legacy is a result of Bob Kraft limply bending over and assuming the punishment position instead of talking privately and assertively to the commissioner to ensure that he clearly state the specific infraction that BB had committed. Plus, Kraft also had to be more vocally assertive about the taping practices BS story line.
