What do you guys think he will become? A legit #1? Chad jackson 2.0?

These injuries don't scare me yet. But i would like to see some good improvement this year and take that next step. If he stays the same as last i may get a bit worried

Yeah, the whole "Chad Jackson 2.0" thing just sounds dumb. Chad Jackson only had 13 receptions in his rookie season, which doesn't compare at all to Aaron Dobson.

lol Chad Jackson 2.0? Not even close. Dobson showed more in his first 5 games than Chad Jackson showed in his whole NFL career.

You know what i mean...just not that good i should have said

Top 5 WR in NFL? Bottom of the list?

Nobody knows...;):p

Nah, I hope what he's going through doesn't completely ruin the young kid's development. The offense needs him. But only time will tell. He was coming on last season before the injury, so maybe he can regain and eventually surpass that form.

Thats what i hope. I just wonder how much TC misses will affect him

1,000 yard WR when healthy. Pro Bowl potential. Could be elite if he adds 5-10lbs of muscle.

Would've had even better numbers last year if he didn't drop so much. He actually has good hands and didn't have any drops his entire senior year in college, so I'll rack up last years dropsies to rookie jitters.

Health is the key. If he stays healthy and continues to develop with TB he could be potent
weapon for TB.

What worries me is the screw in his foot. He needs to get into camp soon or we may not see
him until the 7th week of the season or later. One encouraging report said in a recent practice
he was seen running from sideline to sideline. But the screw worries me.

Anyone know of another player who had a screw put in his foot? What was the result?

Solid outside WR. i could see him with 1000 yards a year if healthy. He has a good all around game but not the elite tools other bigger names have.

Why does the screw worry you? That's how they fuse the stress fracture in a foot. Brady had one, Edelman had one. It's SOP because stress fractures in feet heal very slowly and often reopen unless a fastener is inserted.

Julio Jones broke the fifth metatarsal in his foot in 2011, had a screw put in and broke it again in 2013. Dobson broke the same bone.

The result was 100+ catches last year.
Surgical Treatment
Some stress fractures require surgery to heal properly. In most cases, this involves supporting the bones by inserting a type of fastener. This is called internal fixation. Pins, screws, and/or plates are most often used to hold the small bones of the foot and ankle together during the healing process.

This is an expert orthopaedic site.

They have to put a screw in other wise it may never heal 100% especially in a athlete

Edelman has one...

He'll probably become an Eagle or Redskin.

I kid, I kid.
