Cary Williams doesn't like practicing with the Patriots because "they are cheaters"

Williams, whose disdain for the Patriots goes back to his days with the arch-rival Ravens and their heated playoff showdown, said there’s no benefit to practicing against other teams, especially a team with New England’s “history.”

“You don’t wanna give any — I don’t care whether it’s the Patriots or it’s the the dang Bengals, whoever it is — you don’t want to give them an opportunity to look at your stuff,” he said. “That’s just me, from a personal standpoint. I don’t want to show none of my cards.

“So to me it’s not benefiting us because they’ve already proven who they are (from Spygate), that’s their history. And I don’t like them, not only because of that, but because I just don’t like them. I played them three of four times in a row [in the playoffs].”

Dork. Williams was a senior at Division II Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas when Spygate occurred.

I agree with him about giving the Patriots "an opportunity to look at your stuff." Keep your pants on, Cary. Trust me, none of us want an opportunity to look at your stuff (even if we probably need a magnifying glass to find it.)

Does this ****** realize that we don't play the Eagles this year?

These comments are useful for letting all the butthurt bottom feeder organizations across the league hold their Superbowl equivalent party in August.

Oh, look:

I lived in Philly and currently live in NY. Not the smartest fans in the world, in both cities. I'm tired explaining to both sets of morons that what the Pats got penalized for doing in 2007 was not against the rules in 2001, 2003 & 2004, so how exactly did the Pats cheat during the SB years ? Seems simple, but non Pat's fans can't grasp that info. Can't fix stupid.

He must have some new skills developed that aren't on tape from his 71 career games. He wants to surprise the league with them in week 1.

The Patriots and Eagles will be practicing together leading up to the 8/15 preseason game.

That doesn't make Williams any less of a ****** for insulting another team shortly before he practices with and plays against them. It would be interesting to be on the field when a Patriots player asks him about his comments.

Will that confrontation strike FEAR into him?

Yeah....... I'm thinking that he might be making himself scarce in the "confrontation" department prior to the game.

Either that, or he's gonna try and start something and end up firing up New England prior to the game.

Either way, he's still a moron.

I meant during the regular season, but your point is well taken.

Did anybody ever end up getting the last word in on that one? Whose stream of piss was thicker, in your opinion?

The real question is are we cheaters or are we just good.

this dope is either willfully ignorant or his mother raised a moron.

Ice up son.........

The chick from The Princess Bride?

Shut up you suck and will continue to suck

What a *****

Everybody move along. There's nothing to see here. No, really, there's nothing to see here.:D

I wonder which receiver he's going to get thrown out of joint practice along with himself this year.

I like all the "Who? jokes, but I realized we've mentioned Williams a few times over the last couple years.

In 2012, he was the guy who kept pushing/slapping Julian Edelman:

slap-fest.gif

He also shoved an official during the Super Bowl that season:

He wasn't penalized for either of those plays and, as far as I can tell, wasn't fined afterwards. Interestingly, the regular season Patriots-Ravens game was the one where Belichick was fined for grabbing the refs arm as he ran off the field after the game ended. Somehow, contacting an official during a game merited no punishment at all.

And, as Wheelman mentioned, Williams intentionally started a fight with Aaron Dobson just over a year ago during an Eagles-Patriots joint practice. He claimed he wasn't happy about the Patriots trash talking earlier in practice.

We'll see what happens next week when the two teams practice together and play next week. It won't happen, but I wouldn't be disappointed to see Edelman re-enact the Welker-Talib collision with Williams.

I just saw this on the crawler on the NFL network. Worse than Williams's 5th grade level comments is the ever renewed "cheating" label we have to put up with. Spygate is the most over-blown "scandal" in the history of the NFL and creeps like this always add fuel to the fire. A whole new round of cheating talk again begins and ahole media and fans are either too stupid or too disingenuous to put in proper perspective. We sooooo have to get another Superbowl. It won't kill the cheater label but it will quiet it a little at least. This annoys the **** out of me.
