Big Bad Browner

Just because you are in the NFL means you can't be scared or timid of who is on the other side? It happens every dam week. Saying NFL players don't get scared or timid of big hits coming across the middle of the field is just idiotic.

I dont think anyone is saying that. I am sure all NFL receivers are afraid to be paralyzed by a hit. What is being stated by some of the more astute posters here is that these Broncos WR were probably no more scared, worried, concerned, apprehensive, afraid, distracted, nervous, fearful, call it what you want than any other time they are out there being pro athletes.

Given it was the Super Bowl I am sure the heat and intensity was turned up.

What I can also believe (and Andy hinted at it) is that since this forum seems to have a contingent of ****ies on it that some of these ****ies are just projecting how they would feel if they were out there.

Its called projection.

You're an idiot.

Oh but they get paid to do it? Ya ok they aren't timid anymore. Never seen a WR drop a pass over the middle with hearing footsteps near him and turning his head. He just LOVED those 3rd downs!
Yes and as stated its part of the game. Players are insert adjective here_________ during play one, week , game 5, play 234, every time they are on the field.

But all of a sudden it only happened when the team we hate the most (Broncos) with WWW happened to play a very physical DB (Browner) who just happens to play on the team we love the most.

Gee, coincidence? I am all for BB mauling everyone in his path and I hope he is a difference maker....But what some of you are creating is just a fallacy. If it was not the Broncos and Browner a new patriot this discussion would not be happening.

You calling me an idiot is a complement. When you accomplish something in life, let us know...OK?

Not surprised you got offended by the comments. You may be the biggest **** on here.

I'm the one offended? lol Careful not to dribble any of the foam coming out of your mouth on to your keyboard. Moisture and liquids can damage PC hardware

All of these astute posters and ******* on here is really something else!

I called out the ****es and you responded. Thanks for the confirmation.

Anyway, still waiting for that accomplishment list. Ohhhh I know, move out of your parents basement...start with that.

COME FIGHT ME, BRO! COME FIGHT ME RIGHT NOW!

/facepalm

Anyway....

It really sucks he's suspended for the first four games. It's like finding presents in the closet you can't open until Christmas. I'm really excited to see this entire unit on the field working together.

Too bad he didn't beat his wife instead of miss that drug test. He'd be on the field for Oakland.

Can someone post the GIF of when Sanchez lined up and the DB scared him?

That's perfect!!

John Hannah disagrees.

Trying to a avoid a hit, bracing for a hit, trying to make a tackler miss or earing footsteps and being afraid are completely and entirely different things.

After the Chancellor hit, their heads were clearly on a swivel when the ball was thrown over the middle and there were instances of alligator arms happening. If that wasn't due to fear of being hit, please tell me what it was due to.

They covered them. Saying there were scared is ridiculous.

Just two years ago I heard Boomer Esiason on WFAN say that the reason he retired is because, in his last season, he took a hit from Ray Lewis, and decided that he wanted no part of that anymore.

Not sure that qualifies as "afraid of Ray Lewis", but it's as close to an admission as you'll probably ever get from an NFL (or former NFL) player.
