I believe it was the Vikings, Brad Childress took Garret Mills from us. Though my memory is fuzzy on that. Somebody please confirm this.

Yep. Even funnier was that poor kid that Belichick then took from MIN and Childress, who they obviously had no intention whatsoever in keeping, then promptly cut.

those hillbillies down south are still butthurt from superbowl loss. and just been jealous of us like every damn mediocre organization. and last year win was their SB win. lol

so much butthurt. i'm lovin' it.

from 2012

"First of all, there aren't any unwrittens. ... You can't negotiate a contract, release him, and then re-negotiate another contract with him that was already done in advance. I'm sure the Giants weren't doing that. So the player is on waivers, he's on waivers -- ours or anybody else's. I don't know what unwrittens you're talking about. ... Any time you put a player on waivers, you know there are 31 teams out there that can take him if they want him. We all know that. There is no secrets about that."

wow they're steaming mad over there

Let's see. We picked a 6th rounder who will spend his rookie year on IR. The last non-1st round rookie that produced for us after being injured was ??????????????????

so what's the logistics for him to end up in our IR? Make the final 53?

YOINK!!

Who is Shane Vereen?

19 pages of butthurt so far. lol

"I hope Bill has a date with destiny. And by destiny I mean a scorching case of gonorrhea. Not that Gaffney was going to be the next Barry Sanders, but just because he quite possibly could be the biggest **** in sports."

Well there are very few cases of rookies missing their entire first seasons, so there shouldn't be many examples. That said, Ben Watson fits the bill. Vereen kinda does, as well.

Pretty disgusting that Belichick has to resort to taking players other teams release instead of letting them keep them after they release them. They only have so many scholarships yet he keeps tweaking the rules to cheat the other teams, it isn't fair, Panther fans have every right to a really good cry, Belichich is breaking the rules by taking players who don't belong to anyone.

The lesson here is that there isn't a single day that BB isn't looking to improve this team. Sunny Monday in July, ho hum. Who did Carolina just waive? MINE.

The Jets were probably having team movie day.

its not a good offseason unless someone is throwing shade at the patriots for something that happened in the front office.

LOL...the HATE is flowing over there that's for sure.:D
good, good let the hate flow within them. seriously though this is a 6th round pick why do Panthers fans care? Tyler Gaffney might contribute next season but really I think he is just insurance at the RB position next season

Reading panther fan comments about this has me making the willie o face from my avatar all day.

They'll carry him until final cutdowns on Aug.30th a month from now where they can then place him on IR, without having to worry about him going through the waivers process.
