AFC east dominance isn't anything to write home about anymore. We shouldn't be concerned with jets and dolphins or bills. Although before Alonzo was injured they did present a good chance to beat the patriots if their QB stepped up. Alonzo is the kind of LB bill should have had in mind before drafting slugs like Spikes/Hightower. Anyways winning the AFC east isn't much to brag about or accomplish. We have the only franchise QB in the division,if we didn't win the division it would mean the rest of the team is really bad or their team is really good. We need to focus on the teams we know we have to beat for a Superbowl trophy or anticipate we may need to beat along the easy or in the game itself.

I have confidence in the speed/talent of our young WRs. We just have to get them confident/consistent and up to speed in technique and with Brady and the offense. I have confidence in the secondary and I believe another passrush terror will step up. If Hightower doesn't get close to the playweight of every standout LB in this league then I have confidence in Anderson and Beauharnais. Beauharnais I would like to work on speedy and get a step faster but I do like his speed/quickness. It is better than his 4.84. He redeemed himself with a 4.65 and 6.9 3 cone. I think he has a better career than Manti Teo.

This is where it gets tricky and we have to proactive/innovative like when we won the trophies a decade or so ago. Every team wants a ferocious defense especially passrush with more pressure up the middle to go with the terrorizing speed off the edges. Everybody also wants corners at least 6'0 like Revis or taller with close to the speed quickness of a 5'10 corner. But most of all they want an intimidating passrush with wide body DTs to eat up blockers and free up passrushers on the edge and off the middle. They are no longer "RUN STUFFERS" They are power DTs to occupy blockers to free up passrushers and speedy playmakers. Teams know Brady nor any QB is as good with heavy pressure especially up the middle where the LG/C/RG IS! They also know we are weak at RG/Center. If we don't pull off a trade to fix that it will SABOTAGE OUR WHOLE OFFENSE! It will effect Brady who isn't as quick sidestepping and firing as he was when we won the Superbowls. But still the best at anticipating who is about to be free and releasing the quickness/elite accuracy and near elite velocity. With the rest of our competitors obsessed with passrush off the edge and power NTs to free up pressure up the middle. We need to outsmart them and add a standout guard or Center to counter any and all dominant passrushes and give Brady a clean pocket with the best pass protection he has ever had. Which will allow our young talented speedy WRs to develop and gain confidence. And allow Bradys weapons to run any and all routes while forcing defenses to cover every patch of grass on the field while their passrush they rely on so heavily is arrested and stifled.

If we trade to Acquire a pro bowl or pro bowl quality Guard or Center to add to top caliber players like Solder/Mankins/Vollmer it will give us the best OLine in the NFL to allow Brady and his weapons to time to light up NFL dominant defenses with precision/accuracy/explosion. If we get a standout guard then Halapio/Connolly/Stork can compete for center position. Wendell is to weak and terrible. Connolly while far from a standout is somewhat serviceable at center and sandwiched between Mankins and a standout RG limits how much he has to go one on one. Just in case Stork can't step up and Halapio isn't given an opportunity for starting Center job. But honestly Halapio is our strongest/best Center as many scouts cited Center is his best position because he lacks agility at guard handle DEs and quicker penetrators which he won't have to do at center where his power/tenacity is awesome to man up NTs and power DTs. If we trade for a standout center who can block one on one then Cannon/Fleming can compete for starting RG. Scouts and his Stanford coaches said guard is his best position in the NFL where should be a standout. Either way we can't win the Superbowl if we sport Wendy and Connolly as our starters. Brady and WRs can't function and develop against Seattle or some other dominant defense that steps up this year.

Bill has to be willing part with a significant draft pick and part with some of his draft fun/games if he seriously wants to field an OLine and team that WILL WIN THE SUPERBOWL!! It will take a Round2 pick at least to Acquire the guard or center we need that will make our OLine top flight and maybe the best! While fortifying the interior and outwitting the teams trying to build dominating Defenses and pass rushes. By sporting an OLine that can handle standout DLines and passrushers one on one across the line of scrimmage. Its a necessity to begin with to upgrade Wendell/Connolly who were the bottom 5 and maybe the worst at their positions!! Since we must upgrade there anyways IT SHOULD BE DONE RIGHT WITH A STANDOUT GUARD OR CENTER IF OUR GOAL IS TO WIN THE SUPERBOWL instead of just dominating our weak division, going 13-3 and getting our butts kicked in the playoffs. Trade the Round2 and whatever else it takes (mallet or Round4 pick or whatever) to fortify our OLine, protect Brady from hits/injuries, allow our offense to dominate while Brady has time to allow our young fast talented WRs to run any and all routes with precision while attacking NFL defenses on any part of the field. Oh and BTW sporting the Best OLine in the NFL and winning the first Superbowl in a decade. I think an improvement that great, that has a huge impact on the whole offense of that caliber is worth a #2 draft pick.

Our division sets the bar to low. We need to think what improvements we need to beat the best teams! We need to to invest to give Brady help and win Superbowls while we know we have a franchise/best QB and can win. Who knows how good the offense will be after Brady isn't passing to the patriots WRs. Denver is showing commitment to Manning who didnt play for them and winning while they have a great QB. They are showing more commitment to him (and themselves since they have championship opportunity) than we are to Brady. That Garapollo pick could have been packaged with Stork pick to trade up for a standout guard/center or to another team for an established impact Center/Guard to protect Brady which makes the whole offense much more explosive.

I am sorry you missed it Joker, I provided a full transcript, even in Gaelic, above.

WTFing F?

Can anyone provide me with a Readers Digest condensed version?

anyone have stat's on this guy Acquire? He doesn't appear to be on any roster or draft guide.

That's funny. I don't really see the top franchises making blockbuster trades or signing big dollar free agents for centers and right guards. With a salary cap, those are almost always moderate cap-hit journeymen on NFL teams. You can't pay top dollar for every position on the team.

The Pats invested three draft picks on young offensive linemen. Seems like pretty good competition across the board on the o-line in camp.

The best thing is that they have three tackles with some combination of Solder, Cannon, and Vollmer. Not many NFL teams are so fortunate. With Mankins able to play LT in an emergency, the Pats are four deep with NFL caliber tackles, plus a rook who will either beat out a vet or be red shirted in some way (practice squad, nagging injury....)

Well last year PATs offense line was in the top 10 and they did have some injuries.

http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/stats/2013/Final/OHI/

Considering Vollmer only played 8 games and Solder dealt with a concussion, not bad.
PATS have some good competition for those spots you are concerned about so the
final line if far from being determined.

But if Wendell stays at Center, Cannon moves to RG and the tackles are healthy again
I believe this line could be top 5 this year.

I took the liberty of looking for posts and asking around about gymrat. While i respect any poster who doesn't talk **** while hiding behind a keyboard/ipad screen that they would never physically say in person. Gymrat has very different ideas how to improve the team and players on it than my suggestions. Very obvious.

While I know I over detail some things. Happens when I feel very strong about an idea. BTW when we have the best QB in the NFL who is 37 giving him top protection and a dominant OLine will improve the entire offense in COUNTLESS ways.

Condense things.......Wendy/Conolly suck. While trying to develop young WRs its rather hard. Young guys are unproven especially Stork who everybody seems its a given that he will be an upgrade,he has similar flaws as Wendell. He was the #4 #5 center in a very weak class. Anything less than a Superbowl championship is a dissapointment/failure. I want a championship!!! Acquiring ( yeah spell check changes it,not taking time to fix every time) a top quality guard or center will garuntee it pretty much. If we trade for top notch guard or center/young WRs make improvements/team stays healthy/ one of our young passrushers step up to make an impact, I will bet my prized new Cessna we win the championship for first time in a decade. Everything else we have except the new impact guard or center.

Football season getting close is exciting, but enjoy rest of summer guys. Happy vacation.

Joker, he said that you and I must become the pass rushers.

BTW even if I were, changing IP Addy is very easy and can be done in multiple ways. Have fun

This, all of the idiotic posts you have made, and your comment about your prized Cessna should put to rest any questions regarding whether or not you are trolling this forum. There is absolutely no doubt at this point.

Wait, yesterday you were Kenbrell Thompkins agent. Now you are Gym Rat?
Tomorrow you could be Giselle.

I thought I was just being lazy on a Sunday night in not wanting to finish reading the OP...
