It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Unfortunately for you, you are talking out your rear end... 7 on 7 drills are just as important as 11 on 11. You have no idea whether the receivers were in the right place or if it was truly Mallet's fault.DaBruinz. unfortunately for Mallet, football isn't 7 on 7. Mallet stinks, and he'll be cut soon.
Did anybody notice how Justin Jones did today. I like this kid think he has a chance to make it.
From the globeRead a note somewhere that he had a nice shimmy move to beat Anderson for a TD catch, but that it was really the only play of his that popped today. Still, better to only be seen with one positive than seen multiple times for negatives.
I forgot to add Lafell to my roster! oops.If they were inclined to go with 2QBs, I think they would have traded Mallett. By keeping him, I think they're signaling that they're not comfortable with a rookie backup QB and are going to carry three this year. Although who knows, it's possibly that Garoppolo will be so good in camp that Belichick will feel that Mallett doesn't warrant a roster spot.
At the moment, this is my list:
QB (3) Brady, Mallett, Garoppolo
RB (4) Ridley, Vereen, White, Houston
WR (6) Edelman, Amendola, Dobson, Thompkins, Boyce, LaFell
TE (3) Gronkowski, Hoomanawanui, Jones
C (2) Wendell, Stork
G (3) Mankins, Kline, Halapio
T (4) Solder, Vollmer, Cannon, Fleming
DE (4) Jones, Ninkovich, Buchanan, Smith
DT (5) Wilfork, Kelly, Easley, Jones, Siliga
ILB(3) Mayo, Hightower, Beauharnais
OLB(3) Collins, Anderson, Davis
CB (5) Revis, Browner, Dennard, Ryan, Arrington
SS (2) Harmon, Wilson
FS (2) McCourty, Thomas
ST (4) Gostkowski, Allen, Aiken, Slater
Total players: 53

From the globe
"Tight end Justin Jones showed some nice shimmy to break free from the coverage of linebacker James Anderson in the end zone, making a grab for a touchdown in 7-on-7 work. This was the first time Jones made a play that popped off the field."On a related note in the same article:
"The Patriots spent a lot of time in offensive formations that included three wide receivers. In the past, the two-tight end offense has been the preference, but the precedent could be changing in New England with an abundance of wide receivers that have different skill sets."
Thanks for the update Sicilian. Jones could be a terror in the Red Zone against smaller DB'S
Sweet ninja move, BradyFTW!
Hahaha yup, left that post up for about 20 seconds before I thought "... why am I doing this? What could this possibly accomplish?
Has Mrs. B retired?? Miss her posts...
To me, the biggest news of the day is that Mayo's in the middle.
