Why does Shane Vereen need to watch out and not Bolden?

That type of crap really irritates the living sh** out of me. NFLN is an arm of the league. While it's understandable that they would feature and emphasize a guy like Manning, every season it's the same unsufferabe ball licking. I expect it from ESPN because long ago they proclaimed themselves the network of the Royal Family, aka the Mannings, and are not officially affiliated with NFL.

The "thinking" is we have to keep Bolden as a second "big back". I disagree, Bolden may have size but he doesn't run like it and Vereen and White are capable "up the middle" runners if necessary.

A little bit, but we got reports out of OTA's that he botched multiple snaps and had to run a lot of laps. My guess is they feel he needs more work on his snap coordination with Brady than Wendell does.

I was there on the hill. The one was a crossing pattern, he got there too fast and the throw was slightly high and behind him. Really wasn't a hands problem as just being in the wrong spot at the wrong moment. I didn't see the other.

Florio: Patriot hazing is insensitive in light of Jonathan Martin scandal. Loss of first round pick may be coming from the league.

From a purely financial viewpoint, this did just guarantee that he gets a paycheck in 2014, which was far from given, but he does have a split salary. Instead of making $855k if he made the roster or nothing if he had been cut, he'll split the difference and get paid probably about half of that to rehab.
