Investigators probing a murder allegedly committed by former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez interviewed Patriots coach Bill Belichick and team owner Robert Kraft last summer, according to the latest court documents released in the pending murder trial.
The interviews were listed on a voluminous inventory of evidence that has been provided to Hernandez’s defense team. The inventory indicated the interviews ran four pages and were dated Aug. 20.

$100 says that a year from now Florio makes some reference in a column to Belichick and Kraft being "investigated" in conjunction with Hernandez's murderpalooza.

Clever detective: " So Mr. Kraft, the suspect shoots two people in a drive by and you deposit 6 million in his bank account, then in March you give him another 3.25 million and he takes Odin Lloyd out and shoots him? Coincidence......I think not............."

Also talk about 33 pages of texts between Bill and AHern. I wonder how the texts are organized. I have to believe it's something like one text per page, or one 'interaction' per page. Otherwise, that's a hell of a lot texts Bill.

I have the same question as well.

There is clearly no connection here (just to get that out of the way), but I'm afraid that DA's have gone to Grand Juries with a lot less than that.

How long until Ron Borges reports Belichick orchestrated the killings via text.

What's the chances BB or Kraft is called to testify in any of the trials?

Interesting. This whole case is going to be a HUGE media story... it's going to be ridiculous.

Not taking that bet. This is certain to happen but won't take anywhere close to a year.

Not surprising Kraft and BB just about part of his everyday family during the season.

Right after Felger says it on the radio and Shank parrots him.

I'd be a lot more surprised if they hadn't interviewed Kraft and Belichick.
Agreed. There is absolutely nothing unusual with a murder investigation interviewing employers. An employer will have information such as days Hernandez showed up at the stadium, days he didn't, etc.

I have no doubt the investigators interviewed Hernandez's neighbors as well, but I guess that doesn't make for as good of a headline to draw clicks to an online article as Kraft and Belichick.

I would have to disagree with you about the information obtained. Its not about what days he was there or not there, it was about his mind set. Any investigation you go into you have your questions already written up and I bet they are using the time line to gauge his mind set and if he changed from this time period to this time period. Also they probably asked what type of clothes did he wear to work to show some sort of gang tie.

This is called checking the box, if any of the involved parties brings up anything during the investigation we call it a box and the box has to be checked. In this case when computer crimes dumped AH phone they saw 33 pages worth of texts which created a box and the box needed to be checked.

Oh, I agree they're asking questions about mind set and attitude as well. There is evidence such as records about what days Hernandez was in and what days he was out, as well as his overall attitude during the time periods.

I have no doubt investigators will be asking a lot of questions about the time period immediately following the 2013 killing. IIRC, the Patriots eventually told Hernandez to go home and stop showing up.

Well, saw Evening Edition with Tanguay. Definitely taking the '33 pages full of texts' route. o_O
