I'm a big time Netherland supporter but I am concerned that Argentina is getting back Aguero back for the match

David Luiz is a 50 million pounds footballer. I should be at least 25 million on that scale.
Let's put it this way, as a Chelsea supporter I'm happy to see the back of a "Defender" who cannot defend.

Germany were magnificent and I feel good about my pre-tournament pick to win it all. Either way, Germany vs Argentina/Holland should be a great contest.

Holland should beat Argentina, I would say, from the way they have played, Netherland is a fun team to watch, other than Robben who really makes it hard to root for them, he is so talented, yet he would rather dive than play.

What the **** is your problem, ***hole? I am enjoying a good ole' fashioned blowout in a sporting contest. I was rooting for Germany, I bet some money on Germany, and I am enjoying that they are beating a dirty team and doing it the right way.

Brazil is like Duke basketball or Yankees baseball. They think they are God's gift to the sport and I am enjoying their comeuppance. If you got a problem with that, then I suggest you do to yourself what Germany is doing to Brazil. The above heat map might point you in the right direction.

My problem is that you come across as the embodiment of your avatar, and I am not alone in seeing it that way. And from what i can tell the person who thinks they are god's gift to the universe is you. You seem like an unbelievably unpleasant and dislikeable person. I will leave it at that and put you on ignore so i miss it in the future.

So how badly does Brazil riot and is the stadium attacked after the game?

I hope it doesn't come to that, they put on an amazing WC even if it didn't go their way. I understand the position of the Brazilians who feel billions were squandered while millions are impoverished but i hope the politics don't play out on those who came to see the Cup.

It's going to be interesting to see if Chelsea can get James Rodriguez away from Monaco, Abromovich is going to go hard after him. I would love to see Barcelona go after him rather than Suarez, it will be almost impossible to support them any longer if Suarez goes there.

Truthfully, the guy to watch is Eden Hazard. He's a supreme talent running forward but Mourinho hates midfielders who don't track back. I must admit, I didn't know much about James Rodriguez until this World Cup (I have zero interest in French soccer) but he's shown all the signs of being a top level striker. Monaco is going to cash in wherever he ends up.

If nothing else that game served as the reason Klinsmann should be retained as the head of the National Team. We just saw a Brazil side with more talent on their bench than the US has on their entire squad get torched by a German team the US lost to 1-0, and the reason they were beaten like that was because Scolari did not have them ready and when they hit the field they had no organization or understanding of how to stem the tide of the German attack and get back into the game. The US side was far overmatched in terms of skills against the same German team but Klinsmann had them ready and they maintained their organization throughout the game despite a serious disadvantage in skill and possession. That the US team could actually play with the team that destroyed Brazil today speaks volumes about the job Klinsmann has done and if they support him this program could make it to the quarters next time out, and if they have everything fall their way maybe even the semis, but that's a big hope.

Don't know much about Hazard but i am going to be paying far more attention to the international leagues than i have the past couple of years, although that will likely mean paying for packages, i used to watch much more when I had Sky Soccer Channel but they took it off of my dial and now there is limited access to the international leagues i once could watch at will.

Thought this was pretty good:

I got Argentina winning tomorrow though after today, I don't see either of them beating Germany.

Not just that but that last set piece off a direct free kick near the end of the US/Germany game was a masterpiece of a design by Klinsmann that left Clint in an one on one situation with only Neuer between him and a goal. If Clint hadn't muffed his dribble, it'd have been 1-1 at the end of regulation.

You should be more concerned that they're epic chokers, rivaling Manning's chokes. ;)

Well...Brazil did start an MLS goalie. What did they expect against a world class team lol

that Germany was more strong then Brazil it was clear but honestly a clear defeat of this magnitude i did not expect ... Germany playied a perfect match ...simply sensational ... they dominated the game ... I'm sorry for the Brazilian people and i'm still stunned by this result

Now let's see who Germany will face in the final...tonight i can not 'miss Holland-Argentina

HUMILIATION OF A NATION!!!!
HUMILIATION OF A NATION!!!!
HUMILIATION OF A NATION!!!!

It's hard to be certain but you really come across as a low class and truly sh.tty person.

Ivan, I really don't get what your issue with this is?

He wrote 'humiliation of a nation' four times in capital letters. Now I don't visit this board nearly enough as I should in order to say I know this guy inside out, but it appears you have nothing better to do with your life other than irrationally jump on someone's back and act like a self-righteous prat, judging someone you have likely never met in your life.

There was no issue with what the guy said at all. Get off your high horse and stop looking down at people.

Back on topic; I've never seen anything quite so astonishing in my life. You just had to laugh at it in the end! Combination of losing your captain, then your best player and the pressure of being in a semi-final at your home tournament. Germany were clinical and after that second goal went in, instead of staying calm, Brazil just paniced.

It wasn't lost at 2-0 but the desperation in Brazil's play was there to see....they should have stayed much cooler under pressure.

I'm guessing it had more to do with 39 telling AzorianPats to move to Portugal since he supports their side earlier in the thread, or something to that effect (I didn't care to search the actual post).
