Buffalo Bills LB Kiko Alonso injured while working out

Should be under FX. Episode 1 is phenomenal. Allow 2, 3, and 4 to go into character development before 5 starts kicking ass again.

Thanks, man. Much appreciated.

So I may have been the OP of a thread stating we should not sleep on the Bills this year... scrap that out guys. I'm quite convinced now that Buffalo really is cursed. This is huge.

They get the injury bug like the Patriots get the injury bug. It kills their attempts to get back to being a quality team.

I'm not debating. I'll watch it. It's just about finding the time to start it from the beginning. I'm sure it's awesome. Am I the only one on here that has followed Fargo? What a phenomenal mini-series that was. The Coens can't miss.

Well now, as far as that goes.. ;)

Thanks, DZ. I am looking forward to doing some binge watching over the holiday weekend. I appreciate the recommendation from you and Kontra.

Once you watch a few and get the Minnosotan way of talking in your ear come back and reread my comments. :)

Agreed, Kiko is a star in the making. I thought he was one of the best LBs last year and with the Bills great D-Line Kiko was able to show off his talents. I think he's better than Kuechly (from Carolina). This really hurts the Bills, I feel bad for them

Kuechly is the best LB in the NFL right now. Alonso might get there one day, but he's not there yet.

They do have some time to acclimate a replacement but this is a very tough injury to absorb for a Bills team that seem to think they are close to competing for a playoff spot.

It seems that the early reports are that they are attempting to replace him with a young, rookie, in house candidate.

As far as the BUF organization goes, I find it reasonable to think that they may be able to compete for a WC spot with MIA and the NYJ. They were 6-10, and you never know when 8-8 may be good enough to sneak it there as the 6th seed.

I personally doubt that this will be the year, but from an organization's POV, everyone is 0-0 at the moment with excitement in front of them. I think their QB situation is going to be the key though. That's the unknown factor that could continue to keep them down, or allow them to improve another couple of games. I would guess that most of us assume that they'll remain around where they were last season, give or take a game. I'm just not sold on EJ Manuel.

I hate to say it but steroids effects on tendons and ligaments aren't like effects on the muscles. It stresses the ligaments/tendons and in some cases makes the weaker and more brittle. If steroid usage is on the rise torn acl's make sense. How many players busted for roids tore an acl. Merriman was the first I knew of.
