I would not call it a jihad; I just do not think he is a good football player (by NFL standards). I think signing him was a poor decision much like signing Brandon Lloyd and trading for Greg Salas was. Amendola is on borrowed time; even his fans know that, after 2014 he will be gone. I think most of us have a player we are not that fond of on the team, mine happens to be Amendola. If a discussion breaks out about him I will share my view, if people want to waste their time trying to argue me to change my view I will play along but my opinion will not change overall. I expect that Amendola will play in 12 games or less this season, and have the same production he has had in most of his NFL seasons.

If I was the other posters, I would just expect that when Amendola is mentioned there will be a post speaking negatively of him with the name Brady6 next to it and I would accept that Brady6 does not like Amendola, and not waste my time trying to change his mind.

Just stop. People want to talk football in this thread.

Where's the news on Easley's signing?
I cant find it either but a player will not workout until a contract was going to be signed. Also it was almost promised it would be done by today because the upper management is going on a small vacation and they wanted him to go through the conditioning run.

http://musketfire.com/2014/06/19/new-england-patriots-otas-darrelle-revis-absent/

I get that they're taking it slowly with Revis and his knee, Dobson and his foot, Easley and his knee, and Dennard and his shoulder. there's no sense in risking a setback in June.

But, I have a couple of questions that the report from June 18 begs for answers:

1)How long does Armstead need to get on the field? He's got such great promise and could be a huge addition this year to a defensive line with three older veterans in camp. It's hard to imagine he has much rope left if he can't be out there proving his value.

2) Who is WR Wilson Van Hooser? I haven't bothered to Googloe him, but the name just cracks me up. Sounds like a Canadian from the classic movie Strange Brew.

3) Why is Ryan Mallett listed by the Patriots as "limited." Is that some sick joke by Josh McDaniels, or is there an injury from carrying the clipboard that we haven't heard about?

Any clarifications would be most appreciated. And, yeah, like RayClay says, let's stick to football in this thread.

Easley is at minicamp. Not signed that i can see. they do have insurance policies for this stuff.

Rookies can take part in OTAs and Mini-Camp without a contract.

As Ray Clay points out, there are insurance policies that permit unsigned draft choices to work out.

I love bunnies.

since this once excellent thread has already gone to Hell with pissing contests, I'll digress about bunnies. Daughter comes home from college. A voracious bunny had been ravaging The Mom's garden. Sudbury would not allow discharge of a .22 but the police under the table recommended an ex-cop who did "Critter Control" with his .22. Anyway, daughter picks up the phone one day and hears the message, "Mrs ++++++. I got the bunny!" She burst into tears and would not speak to her mother.

He has a somewhat serious medical problem going on right now. Judging by how Belichick talked about him the other day he has a lot of rope left.

Well because I discuss the wide receivers and I mention the name Amendola and your pager goes off and then you just show up and take issue with whatever I said about him.

At the end of the day I think Amendola sucks. I am not a fan of him at all in fact, he is actually the only Patriots that I would be happy to see be released. How else can I say it I hate him as a player. That is the whole story, I am not going to change my view. Every time we talk about receivers I'm going to advocate against Amendola and for any of the others. I will never say anything good about him.

So now you know where I stand if you or anyone else wish to fight me on my opinion of Amendola then I will continue to explain the reasons I think so lowly of him. Knowing that why don't we just accept that I do not like him and not make this a long painful season of us arguing about him.

This post is an excellent example of why I rarely come to this board any more.
Very disappointing, but sadly there is more bad here than good now.

Calling people names on the internet? So everyone that calls people names here is pathetic? I dont think so.

Also, you sound like a 10 year old.

I will tell you what is pathetic. Pathetic is: bragging about how great your life is, telling everyone what you do, where you live, not accepting anyone else's opinions, not being to accept even minor criticism, making up stories that people have physically threatened you, obsessing about a football player so much that an entire forum thinks you are nuts, bragging about how many friends and likes you have on a forum, "owed to Danny Amendola", "Gun Ho", claiming you like a player then ripping him to shreds in another post, instigating a poster to argue with you and then crying you are in an argument with them etc etc etc.

All on the internet.

Tell ya what pal. Lets solve this the right way. Lets put up a poll and let the site vote on what is more pathetic. There will be two choices.

1. Calling people names
2. The stuff that a poster has done (and its all verifiable and just off the top of my head) above.

We will make it simple. If choice 1 is picked, I leave the site. If choice two is picked you leave the site.

Lets go!!!! I am tired of this and I think so are many other people.
Bruins it bothers you, actually, all you do is follow me around and quote my posts, and I never interact with you unless it is in response to something you imitated. Why don’t you just not interact with me? Why are you so ****ing focused on what I am doing on this board?

I will not talk to you if you do not talk to me, problem solved.

You do not come on the board because I dislike 1 of the 53 players on the roster? Seems extreme Andy.

He is only 23 years old so it makes sense, they can PUP him and maybe he can contribute in the second half of the season.
