Apple products have always been overpriced, but never overrated, always excellent quality, and a great user experience.

Apple does have quality products. But the way most Apple fans talk, they truly believe Apple is far and away better than all the other gadgets. Which really is the real genius of Steve Jobs. His marketing strategy and branding was infinitely way more effective than any other competing company. He sold Apple products as a "lifestyle". And Apple fans have bought into that idea more so than anything.

A $120 pair of Sennheisers crush the crap Beats and compare nicely with Bose. Sennheiser is great for audiophiles or someone looking for top quality for lower price. Of course if you want and money is no option they have $1,500 headphones lol.

Yeah those are great too.

If people would really do their research before buying gadgets, instead of buying what they see advertised, they wouldn't be buying these Beats headphones. With that price you could get a much superior product.

Dr. Dre and Iovine where smart using athletes on their most recent ad campaign. These have really caught on since then.

Apple = great build quality, easy interface, poor specs, overpriced and lack of innovation (recently)

Sennheiser headphones are amazing, using a pair with a headphone amp on this PC and the sound quality is amazing.

The next pair I get will either be a pair of Sennheisers newest DJ headphones or some studio monitors because those run through an amp/DAC would blow pretty much anything else away.

As for the house/castle/mansion...under $12m for the land + however much it cost to build on top of that, they've got a profit out of it no doubt so good business.

Yep, been using Sennheiser for years, most cost effective and great sounding headphones out there IMO

Also i have been thinking, with all this speculation about what Brady will do after football lately. Does he really have to do ANYTHING for money? We all know this family is already deep into real estate.

This bodes well for him working in football and holy **** do I hope he works for the Patriots.

Think that sums Apple up pretty well, the build quality and the materials used is the best thing about the products they have but that "tax" you pay for the Apple logo makes them a poor purchase in a lot of cases (mac pros are great for editing on, though).

Did they ever actually live in that house?

I prefer Soul headphones. They have good sound, are comfortable, and great for working out. I got the soul sl300 Tim Tebow edition. Anyways congrats to Tom and Gisele.

Do they play, "My God is an Awesome God"? ;)

I've never owned an apple product in my life. I feel no need to spend 3x the price of everything else just to try to appear "cool".

Tom made several million turning over 2 NY properties he'd owned. It's both a city local for Gisele's career and I'll bet another re-sale in the future for 8 digits profit. The guy has a talent for high $ RE deals.
Prices of new high rise units in NYC are crazy. So little new product due to 2008 credit crunch. Units in One Madison where Brady just bought were selling for $3000/sq ft in January....but now $6000/sq ft. Rupert Murdoch owns the top 3 floors. Always a good idea to stay as close to the media moguls when deciding on the future...for both TB and GB.

I've been using Sennheiser headphones for almost 15 years. It's kinda strange for me to see how expensive some of their models have become, but they deserve it. I don't use my original pair anymore, but they still work perfectly. For $/quality you simply can't beat Sennheiser.

Tom & Giselle's CA House.jpg

I don't get the jungle gym in the lower right corner of this photo being 100 yards away, up a hill and in a perfectly elevated position from which one could videotape the pool area...wait a minute...is that Eric Mangini in the bushes right there at the bottom on his cell phone to the Commissioner? Whoa! Spygate Part Deux!

Brady got out just in time!

Aye, but Beats only recently became an Apple product. Like I said, if you exclusively listen to hip hop or rap, they're great. But if you're more of an eclectic music fan, they're really not for you. Try listening to some old school punk rock on those things, for example.

All Highs and No Lows...must be Bose. Seriously, I bought electronics for over a decade for an electronics chain, and I can say first hand the the cost of most of Bose products is 5 % materials, 50 % marketing, and a whopping 45% gross profit. Few electronics companies work off the hefty margins enjoyed by Bose. The cost for them to produce that $300 clock radio (Acoustic wave)?...under $20. It's crap wrapped in gilded marketing.

It's a start.

The Patriots are worth 1,800 miiilllion dollars.

Off the top of my head, 40 million is 720% of that. ;)

Only another 140 million and Brady is in down-payment territory. :D

o_O

It's 2.2%....
