Hopefully he is able to somehow grow his arm back in time for the season.
I wonder how close they were to a longer term deal, or if it was in play at all?
Revis' thoughts today seem to coincide with the thinking that he's definitely taking it year by year:

GFY Darelle! Your "legacy" is as tarnished as the Pasts* fake SB wins, over a decade ago. Jump in a pool of lava and sink into hell, assh0le!
Everyone knows that Karma is a b*tch, so the perfect scenario in our 1st game vs the Pats next year is this. Sheldon Richardson takes out Brady & starts the Garrapalo show. Jalen Saunders runs back a punt for a TD. Milliner (the guy we took with our 1st to replace Revis) takes an interception to the house to close out a 31-10 shellacking. Pats go 5-11, miss the playoffs for the 1st time since 2008 & Revis moves on to the highest bidder. That's what should happen to his punk azz! He's despicable & is exactly what's wrong with pro sports. He takes "getting paid" to a whole new level.

What a pathetic fan base.
Still can't figure out why Revis didn't take long term guaranteed money from Jets. Did they actually offer him a long term deal and he didn't accept? I mean, leaving and going to Tampa...come on man ! Must have been more than just the money......maybe he got sick of being on a loser team and wanted a fresh start.

Jest fans...
Calling for someone to injure Brady to start the Garoppolo show. I'm not saying history repeats itself, but do they remember what happened the last time they knocked out that Patriots long-time incumbent QB? Morons...
If he does want to stay in New England, I suspect we may not see a long-term deal with Revis, but rather a series of one-year deals until his cost exceeds what Bill thinks he brings to the field, after which he'll depart
