If cost wasn't an issue would you prefer to watch NFL games live or on TV.

I know the TV experience for the NFL is the best of any sport, but too me you can't really watch the battle within the battles unless you're at the game. Just wondering what others think

TV.

I can watch the battle within the battle with Game Rewind.

it all depends on how good your seats are, the weather, etc.

The thing I like about TV is the audibles from the LOS. When you sit at the stadium, you end up watching a 'muted' game.

In a bar.
I'll second this, though it is fun getting a good tailgate sesh in before the game if your seats are awesome.

The poll says if cost isn't an issue.

I vote for live. I simply love going to the stadium early, tailgaiting and watching the Patriots kick some ass. It is obviously more convenient to sit at home and watch in the comfort of the family room on a big screen in high definition and not miss anything.

eh, hate the stadium, too many distractions during the game, always looking forward to the misery of trying to get out of there, and I can sit around and get all sorts of liquored up at home for the price of 3 stadium beers. Nice to do every couple of years but I wouldnt make a habit out of it.

My choice of live versus TV is rather limited at present...

The problem with this hypothetical is that you can't just take cost out of the equation. How badly you get ripped off at the stadium is a major factor in my decision not to go there more often.

Is this a joke?

Being at a world-class sporting event is priceless. You can always DVR it and watch it later.

Even without the money to spend, I'll be there every ****ing game I can, and I'll have an extra day to enjoy football on Tuesday (when I watched above-referenced DVR).

I go to 6 or so games a year including playoffs..love it live. Next is my 55 inch plasma. Last place i would ever watch? a bar...for me the worst place

Have been to every HOME AFC Champ game since 01. And Cundiff missing the FG a few years back was simply amazing...people were going nuts in the stands...it was just awesome.

I agree that most games are better on TV. But BIG games..like AFC Champ games..you really can't beat it live

Not true thanks Dad!

It's not even a debate I get the big screen and the comforts of home but there is so much missed by not being there. TV can't possibly show it all.

Nothing replaces being at the game, but there is definitely something to be said to watching the game at home on a large flat screen.

I prefer live, only because you can focus more on certain battles that you can't see on TV because they follow the ball.

Well if cost was not a factor watching from Krafts booth with a private parking spot minutes away is really the only way. Else I prefer my 120 inch HD projector :). Since I am not from Boston I watch in Buffalo and its just not worth it anymore. Hour drive, Parking, 20 min walk in and out, 2 hours home in post game traffic. Just to much of a hassle.

I choose live. You can't replicate the experience watching on tv. I have never been to a live pats game because I couldn't afford it. This year I'm thinking of going to the broncos game though. Is it possible to get tickets to this game?

TV, getting out of Foxboro after the game is complete hell. Also, it is much cheaper to watch at home.

You see so much more of what's going on at the stadium vs. TV. There's no comparison.

I take cost out of the equation every time I commit to buy tix to a game, or even buy a pretzel and beer. Because I'm appreciative that we have a once in a generation level team every year.

I like both, but since I can only pick one, I'm going with TV. I hate being stuck on traffic....especially on a Sunday!
