OT: Hernandez indicted in double Homicide back in 2012

Well on the good news side of things Michael Fee made partner Latham & Watkins LLP.

Isn't that all crazy?? Let's just think about that for a second.
It makes you believe in something. Like Lloyd's death was not all for not it gave these other victims and their families a chance at justice.

I can say this for him to kill for such a minor reason there has to be other murders he has taken part in. I would have to guess every cold case in CT, RI, FL, and MA that fits that profile is being investigate for potential connections to Hernandez as we speak.

Which one is the psychopath?

The bailiff?

@supafly do you think Hernandez has any way out of this in terms of a defense? This double homicide seems very strong, I think he might have to consider and unconventional defense.

I know you got the ups on the legal stuff…

I honestly can't see any way possible, B6.

He is up against the following:

--strong, first-hand, witness testimony from Alexander Bradley who was on the scene with him
--the murder weapon has been located
--camera footage and other witness accounts
--the vehicle used in the crime is in custody
--all of the links from the Odin Llyod case as well, such as that having the motive from this one, etc

He's absolutely, 100% screwed.

To take it one step further, Massachusetts still uses the grand jury indictment method which is definitely in the minority today. That aspect alone solidifies their cases much stronger than other states who do not use it. I believe that 9/10 cases are either convicted or are dealt with via guilty plea bargains. Either way, their grand jury indictment system raises their odds dramatically---and that's before any of the specifics of the case.

The "Blood" on his hand goes Blood. Sweat. Tears. I thought this has been established already? Proof: http://galleryhip.com/aaron-hernandez-hand-tattoos.html

So, the whole reason he killed these two guys was because they spilled his drink on him. I feel better now, he was totally justified.

You are right that we've gone over this plenty of times before, yet so did the intake and classification officers who are well trained in the field, and they didn't see much either. Somewhere along the lines of the investigation, that changed...

Obviously, there is something that the prosecution wants to help in building their case (not like they need it) by interviewing other tattoo artists who did work on AHern from early 2012 through summer 2013, and those 3 tattoos are what they are reportedly looking at.

The word being in red, and being located on the hand may be 2 variables that distinguish it from the "normal" thought of it just meaning "blood, sweat, and tears." I think he'd have to be an even bigger dumb ass than we know had he simply decided to tattoo the word "blood" in red ink on his hand with nothing else surrounding it. I'm not an expert in tattoos or gang signs. DarrylS knows much more about these kinds of things. I'm just telling you what they are reportedly interested in. One way or another, I doubt it makes a lick of difference. This case isn't exactly hinging on a tattoo artist's testimony, is it?

@supafly Ok, I see where the conversation was going now. Sorry, I didn't read far enough back I guess. You seem to know legal stuff, so let me ask: When is all of this going to go to trial? Not this double homicide, but the Lloyd case? You'd think a high profile case like this, they'd like to get it over with. Or is it a matter of the defense dragging their feet because they are getting paid $XXX per hour/day/ect?

I heard the Lloyd trial will start in the late fall.

He should have made sure Bradley was dead because now that guy is going to bury him.

He is done; he should try to plead out and attempt to save a few bucks for his daughter to be left with something.

The dude who was with Hernandez in the car is now a witness against him, this is actually a stronger case than Lloyds's, they have everything, the weapon, the car, witness, man he's completely ****ed.

Unbelievable.

The dude is Alexander Bradley who happens to be the person who Hernandez shot in the face and left for dead in Miami last year.

Hernandez 2012-13 touchdowns scored – 5
Hernandez 2012-13 people shot – 5

Has this ever been explained.....the Toyota 4Runner SUV that was loaned to AHern for free by a Rhode Island car dealer, the very same car that was found hidden in a garage in Bristol 2 years later....What has this car dealer said about what happened to their vehicle? Was it reported stolen? Was some kind of cash arrangement made under the table two years ago that satisfied the dealership and eliminated any paper trail that might lead to AHern.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression AHern was on the police's radar for this Boston shooting from the very beginning. The police also knew the vehicle type immediately....so if the car dealer reported a stolen SUV that was last driven by AHern, connecting the dots shouldn't have been all that complicated.
