Peter King With Some Good stuff on Brady

Wilfork would have to actually catch Woodhead. As we all saw, that's a tall order for a DT. ;)

You're right.. he doesn't appear to run that fast.. but there's something about this video that makes me think he could..

Funny how I (or we) just love watching the extreme types.. Woodhead, Welker, Connolly running a kick return, Wilfork making interceptions.

Exactly why we should surround him with some talent. Where would this team have been without him the past 5 yrs.

Peter king lost me as a reader when he decided he wanted to be more of a celebrity then a good writer.
Thing is, the more popular you become as a writer lessons your validity as an open-minded observationist. It's a double-edged sword. I think King, who's from Springfield, MA, is a deep down Patriots guy. His job prevents him from showing that.

This article actually shows his true colors, and he's probably going to take heat for it. I commend him.

Peter King was a Patriots

King was a fair observer of the Patriots/Belichick until Spygate. Then he excoriated BB and Bill, not surprisingl, shut him off. Since then, King has been like a spurned lover. Any credit he gives to NE is given begrudgingly. He's a puke.

Exactly. With all the love King showed the Patriots over the years, he thought he'd hit the Sports Writer Goldmine when Spygate happened. He helped whip the sports world into a frenzy with his Witch Hunt articles under the guise of "fairness in reporting". You could hear the cash registers he was imagining in his head, banking on getting the "Exclusive Belichick Apology/Explanation" because of the love he gave Foxboro in the past. When Belichick (rightfully) said GFY due to the hatchet job King did early September 2007, King did a 180 on all things Patriots.

I don't like haters and I don't like coffee. Hence, I stopped reading King a couple of years ago.

I stopped reading his column when he started injecting politics and all that diversity crap and moralizing stuff into his columns. I don't care what party you belong to, but if you're a sportswriter, keep it out of your columns. If you want to write political opinion pieces, fine! Just don't muddle the two things together.

King's multi-culti crap turned me off a long time ago, and he's only gotten worse with his anti-Redskins and Pro-Sam comments.

The Pats have been in the playoff hunt because of Brady.

And yet some people read it like this

Brady's latest quotes to @SI_PeterKing reinforce my belief that he finishes his career in another uniform

Same guy who said last year brady was old and his skills were declining and all that

Manning put up one of the greatest statistical seasons ever with a noodle arm. Like Manning, Brady doesn't rely on athleticism nearly so much as most QBs. It is his preparation, crazy work ethic, quick release, total dedication to mechanics and excellent snap decision making that make Brady great. I suspect Brady's next contract will be low enough that if he stays healthy, he'll be a quality Patriot starter till at least age 42.

He always says the right thing.

Yes, but I'm trying to imagine his conversations with Giselle after she again reads that he'd much rather be playing football than doing anything else.

For example, I'd say that sporting the "creative" haircut of the year is a VERY small price to pay for being quoted saying that kind of stuff ...

Right now he has a LOT more talent surrounding him than he did when he won 3 Superbowls. Little Johnny one-note. Stop feeling the need to reply with the same post in nearly every thread.

We get it already. You want the Pats to get an elite WR. Fortunately BB understands what Josh wants better than you. You have a right to your opinion, but give it a rest for a day or two.

BB knows how to motivate Brady. He's told him he'll surround him with FA/trade talent if he drops 10-15 LBS body fat.

It's so great to hear Brady say that he's not done yet. We are so fortunate to have him and it seems like yesterday he took over for Bledsoe and it's hard to vision 2001 was so long ago because every year we expect Brady to be, well, Tom Brady and he never disappoints. He steps on field we ALWAYS have a chance no matter how dire injuries, Crap Shoot Defenses, lack of receivers etc to win & win double digits year in year out, playoffs and AFCC'Games and be in or close to Superbowls. And I continue to believe that now with Brady because HE believes it. You can't teach Heart, Fire within and Hunger to Excel. If there's one player that can stall Father Time, It's Brady.

Tucker is a whore and not an attractive one. Look up his "career" with the Patriots that gives him all this insight. He's a fraud.

The same holds true for me with entertainers. When I put down $400 a couple of years ago for four of us to go see Robin Williams, I did it to be entertained by his comedy, not to hear him give a speech about his political views.

Most actors are narcissistic cloacal cavities, with a great capacity to lie and deceive. After all isn't that what their real talent is, after all?

Did anyone else notice Brady said one thing, then Peter King said that secretly he's pissed. I thought it mattered what the interviewee says. Foolish me.
Does Peter still wonder why a growing number think he is a lousy reporter?

I like this one......

Last question: “How’s it been to work and throw against Darrelle Revis so far?”

“I’m tired of throwing against him, that’s for sure,’’ Brady said. “I did tell him, ‘Hey, we plan on building a couple of hotels on your island over there, so don’t be offended.’
