Based on what? Doesn't it depend on which restaurant it is and where it's located? Why would Thurman eat at a restaurant full of Giants fans?

The restaurant manager said there were 13 witnesses. What did he do, count them and interview them? If the restaurant manager wants to keep serving Jets fans, he's going to keep the team's defensive coordinator out of trouble.

Now you're being weird. I don't know if he got off or not. I don't care about Edelman's sex life.
Little slow today... I should have figured out you were trolling after your first reply.

No, just addressing your odd assertions. At least I'm not a Jets apologist.

They weren't in Italy. Or do you mean they were all acting like Italians? Your idea sounds like baloney to me.

What do you EXPECT the restaurant manager to say? That Thurman slapped her? His customers are JETS FANS.
Don't want to be *THAT* guy, but if they were all Italians than a man slapping a woman would probably be pretty commonplace. ;)

Wow, then I"ll just let your posts stand on their own. I couldn't hope to discredit your perspective more than you already have.

For the record, I hate the Jets.

From the excellent Tuesday Morning Quarterback column by Gregg Easterbrook-

"The Jets have spent their past six first-round picks and eight of their past 12, which covers the past 10 years, on either a defensive lineman or defensive back. Yet their defensive performance has gradually declined since their No. 1 finish in 2009. Then, Rex Ryan's all-out exotic blitz philosophy was distinctive. Now most NFL teams show what were once viewed as Ryan-style crazy blitzes, while what was distinctive in 2013 was Seattle's conventional defense with a straight four-man rush. In a globalized economy, clever ideas get replicated fast. Ryan's way of playing football, which once seemed potent, increasingly looks tired."

Oddsmakers have the Jets listed as favorites in just 3 games as of now. I'd say the oddsmakers aren't exactly giving Wrecks high odds of remaining at the helm either.

I've got to say, I'd give the Jets a bit more credit than that; I'd take the over on an over/under

I want them to remain just mediocre enough to ensure Wrecks keeps his job to let the comedy continue
I predict the Seahawks missing the playoffs or bowing out early this season exposing their Coordinators to upward moves as in HC positions. Darelle Bevel was rumored to be going to NY last season but Seattle won it all making it impossible to assemble a staff.

Idzk will want his own HC in place instead of clown shoes Rex.

'Hawks missing the playoffs - seriously? The Jets couldn't get that lucky, plus it's seems highly unlikely. Only teams with iffy QB's bomb after SB wins. Russell is a solid bet to continue succeeding.

But I agree that Rex is a long-shot to remain HC.

Do you now or have you ever associated with anyone who is a Jets fan?

Yes. We don't talk much during football season. They tried so hard to deny that they only reason they went to two consecutive AFCCGs was because of the uncapped year. They now grudgingly admit the truth.

To be fair, I hate the Jets less since Tanenbaum left. If Woody **** ever sells the team, a few years later I'd probably dislike them about as much as the Lolphins and the Jills.

My guess is that the Jets are bottom 5, there offense is bottom 10 and their secondary and LB are brutal. The only thing i do like is their D-Line that is arguably the best with the Rams right now.

Ya, well Brady more or less bombed in Denver throwing a pick 6 to Champ Bailey. Sure the Pats beat up on the lowly sad Jags in the 2005 Wildcard round.

Dont look now but the NFCW could be the toughest division in the NFL. SF is loaded for bear and it took a lucky bounce to end their season last year. AZ has an underrated defense. STL needs to remedy the QB position and Fischer always has good teams.

I dont see the Hawks repeating because more often than not the same fire isnt there after you win the first one. The bounces dont go your way. Nobody can say Sherman is disrespected anymore after he got his big money.

They will all beat each other up. Liikely, Only the Div winner will advance.

yup...that's a helluva lot of dog fighting, betting and murdering for sure, but if one cretin on the entire planet can pull it off, it's "Mike!" Vick, the nothing, nowhere, neverwas who has been deified by certain segments of the sporting press and his gangsta thug murder rapper fanbase.

They'll be fun to watch. If you're into watching a travelling circus.

No discipline from the coach and no leadership on the field except maybe Wilkerson for the defense.

Their 3 best players are all on the defensive line. That alone could keep them in some ball games, but overall, this is a bad team.
