OT: Hernandez indicted in double Homicide back in 2012

It was not funny; generally, I do not associate things that are not funny with joking. You also followed that up with a unnecessary barrage of my post so it all seemed to imply you being a douche and not being a joker.
Well, Pissah evidently thought it was funny and that's all that really matters. As far as me being a douche is concerned, if I contended that you are the first person to slap that moniker on me, I'd be less than honest. Now, as far as me being or not being a "joker" is concerned, well hell, we all know there's only one of those around here and no one is filling those shoes (Joe, just to be clear, I'm not being rude or insulting...am I?). Finally, despite your endless parade of stream of conciousness posts that would put Gertrude Stein to shame, I'm guessing you're probably an "alright guy" (nod to Todd Snider.). But, jeez, can you just let up for a while every now and then?

Ashamed. Reckless. Dishonest. For using a play on words. What the hell are you talking about. Although I am Ashamed that the Pats were so Reckless and Dishonest about he whole AH situation.
Just out of curiosity, what the heck are you talking about? How were the Patriots dishonest? They really didn't know anything until the bleep hit the fan, then once it did they didn't say anything.

I'd be very interested in hearing how they were dishonest. At worst, they were little more than fooled by a convincing liar.

BTW I think it's great that all the crap about The Prisoner is kept in one thread here that others can Ignore Thread if it reminds them of stuff they'd just as soon put behind them. Me, I like keeping up with the news on AH but I too am thankful that we don't have a dozen threads on the despicable loser spewed all over the forum.

I am good J2, I have no issue with you, and I apologize if I jumped down your throat. In general, I like what you spit on here, and I know I can be defensive, so consider this me letting up.

I'll tell you what I'm talking about. Do you think with his background check they did not have ears on the street. Not about the murders. They would not have not known that and dished out 40 mil. But they knew who he was hanging with on a nightly basis and probably tried to father him in a sense. He smooth talked them. How they were dishonest was by not admitting to what they knew and how they were played. Instead the whole we were duped crap.

The jail fight does not really support your point. Hernanez is spending the rest of his life in jail, period. So there's really no additional punishment for a jail fight.

Like I said, I have little doubt that he stays awake at night thinking about the life of extreme luxury he threw away. While his conscience certainly isn't bothering him, the liing hell that is imprisonment certainly does.
I can agree with what you said here, it makes sense when you break it down.

The real tragedy in this situation is Hernandez little girl, she was born into this dysfunction and will have to carry the sins of her father through her life. Hernandez will be #1 on every “worst criminal” “biggest idiot” list in pro sports for the next 50 years. Hernandez is going to blow through all of the money he has (at least $10M) on his defense, and leave the girl with nothing, and the mother might end up doing some time too.

Exactly. I've often thought about the life lost for that little girl.

If I was Hernandez I would plead out, try and save the baby mother from prosecution and at least leave them with a few bucks to get by. He will not do that though, he is going to burn every cent trying to free himself.

Absolute Greek Hero tragedy material with Anakin going over to the dark side

So, who's the Obi-Wan in this tragedy? Because frankly the mental image of Gronk and Aperp fighting over a volcano is a pretty amusing one.

the Croation Warlord is Obi-Wan

I made a big mistake and made a big misjudgment, the Patriots did too, it does not matter if it was on Hernandez to do the right thing, it was on me (and the team) not to be ignorant in who I support.

I understand how you feel, i refused to vote for gore in 2000 and we ended up in two wars and a huge recession as a result. It was on me, had i just voted for Gore the world would have been a completely different place. And, as ashamed as i am to admit it I didn't wear my bruins hat for game 7 and they lost. It's on me, don't blame Clode and Don't blame Marchand, it's all on my head, had i worn my Bruins hat, and maybe some sparkles then the bruins would have won.

Ivan.....WTF are you talking about. Nothing in my post mentioned the Pats, blamed the Pats, questioned the Pats. I just listed 2 more AHern incidents that deserve further examination by the law, IMO. Here's a suggestion, steer clear of my posts and your lame attempts to create negative impressions of me.
PS....If my line..."It's not like AHern fit the description or anything...lol"...is what has your panties in a bunch....why don't you put the foam finger down and go read the description of the mystery suspect in the U of F incident....because that's what that line is all about. Sorry you are too obtuse to figure that one out on your own.

Borg, You are a troll, nothing more. You have have never offered anything at any time to any discussion of this team you simply pop in from time to time to snipe away.

Are you sure you were not lying when you clicked the over 18 box during registration?

Ironic coming from the poster who did this at 3am. I do not think you should be calling anyone a troll because you are clearly one of the biggest ones on this board.

You have rated 18 posts with a dislike since the new forum launched, but 12 of the 18 occurred in a 14 minute window to my posts last night. Talk about a pathetic way to show your jihad.

Brady6 - I know this is completely unsolicited, so take this for what its worth.

I notice you've posted many times to express frustration with people 'disliking' your posts. From my perspective, I think forum members are generally pretty savvy and able to identify those with agendas, and I think the new like/dislike system actually does a great job of highlighting this and displaying it for all to see. However, I think your back-and-forth with them gets you off track with your positions and lowers your presence and posting to a personal conflict with them - which I find unintentionally empowers them/their perspective and can devalue yours.

Just something that I notice and think about as I read through the forum.

I really favor the Dislike button & received a few from rabid draftniks when posting hilarious (only to me, I guess) NFL.com info ratings that had Pats draft selections rated in 7th round or UDFA.

I do think that Dislike should be used sparingly, not in a crescendo and not to settle the score with an unliked poster. No matter how much I disagree with a poster, a Dislike or maybe a 2nd suffices to express disapproval. So I don't support piling on B6 or anyone (who is not a Jets fan, that is).

Brady6, anyone who has to repeatedly tell people on a message board just how awesome they are over and over and over and over and over and over again, and relentlessly push their opinions on every issue down everyone else's throats has serious problems with mental illness, and yes, i am talking about you, awesome as you are. Two can obviously play this game however you will be the big loser because you post twenty times as much as i do. So feel free to continue disliking every post i make and i will continue to return the favor in kind. Or you can put me on ignore and that will end it. I have no interest in having any discussion with you about anything and have made that clear over and over and over again but you ignore that. For some reason you have been refusing to do so for almost a year, despite being told by moderators to do so and being asked by me to do so. Stop responding to my posts and stop giving them dislikes and i guarantee I will do the same in return. I don't think that is asking much and don't understand why you feel like you have to keep acting like we are having a discussion when we aren't. You go your way and i will go mine, end of problem.

Yea, I hear ya.

I guess where my perspective differs is that I don't see the act of someone posting 'like/dislike' as carrying any power towards or against someone they don't like. A multitude of posters indicating like/dislike portrays some power, but I think someone individually spamming 'dislike' to someone's posts carries little weight, and tells me some useful information about that particular poster.

Yes, when i came home from work and saw your numerous dislikes for my posts I returned the favor in kind, and will continue to do so, in fact I am going to do so right now. Put me on ignore and that will end it, unless you continue to serially dislike my posts, in which case i will again return the favor in kind. I don't know how many times I have to tell you I have no interest in discussing anything with you but you really do not take the "hint." I would be very happy to never have any interaction with you again. Take the "hint" and the issue will go away for good.

Good to see you dislike this Brady6, i am sure borg will appreciate your support.
