Look at the depth charts on ESPN

they already have Calvin Pryor penciled in at safety and have the depth charts updated for offense, defense, everything

now look at the pats

http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/depth/_/name/ne/formation/4-3-defense

they have the pats with only 10 defensive starters......with Revis being the obvious one missing.....none of the draft picks or free agents.....hell they don't even have vollmer as RT

no wonder Rex Ryan is talking up the JEts now

Pats only need 10 guys on defense to handle the anemic Jets offense?

Having Vollmer missing however just shows how bad ESPN are.

No Jerod Mayo either...or Browner, apparently that isn't updated like the JETS one is.

In fairness to ESPN, they might get their information from the teams and I don't know if the Pats have updated their depth chart because Belichick absolutely hates these "official" depth charts.

Wrecks and the Green Beans already know what their depth chart is. The Patriots go through things like training camp, preseason games, etc., before determining who has earned what spots on the roster.

Pretty sure this is a far-reaching conspiracy that goes all the way to the top. Because the alternative that ESPN just hasn't updated all roster projections, that's too simple. I too see the hand of the Illuminati at work here.

And I am VERY much looking forward to see what this defense can do. So far, I'm actually rather pleased with it, and it has potential to be awesome. I know it's early, and there will always be injuries, etc, to deal with, but this micht be one of the best defenses New England has had in the past 10 years.

I actually consider this to be wonderful news for ESPN. I thought they had officially become the all day all night 24/7 Michael Sam network, so I am glad to hear them talking about the Patriots' depth chart, even if they are doing so incorrectly.
