OT: Hernandez indicted in double Homicide back in 2012

No.

Miguel "His signing bonus was $12.5 million. It was scheduled to be paid out over three installments. Hernandez received $6 million in August of 2012 and $3.25 million in March of 2013. Aaron is scheduled to receive the third and final payment- $3.25 million on March 31, 2014."

The Patriots have not paid the $3.25 million so that amount plus some other lesser workout bonus amounts are possibly recoverable.

Good point........I can't really sniff at an added 3-4 million if they manage to get that back.

It curious, what if Ahern hadn't killed Lloyd, would the authorities advanced in that previous case investigation and would Ahern end up arrested anyway?

You'd have a murderer on your roster just about now, getting ready for the 2014 season...

What did he say?
He said " you know our boy Miguel who does a great job breaking down the salary cap" and then explain what you wrote about the cap implications of this charge.

I think he can seriously be considered the worst piece of garbage that has ever played in the NFL... and that says a lot.

OJ Simpson thanks you for your support!
3> 2
It's probably a three way tie with AH, OJ and Rae Carruth. Admittedly Carruth didn't pull the trigger but being an active participant in the car shooting of your pregnant ex-girlfriend is right up there.

It is sure to take too long to do the Pats any good though.

It is likely to take 5+ years for this scum to get convicted, particularly if there's a death penalty option.

All we know about any "stars" in the sports and entertainment world is what they let us know and, to some degree, what we want to see in them.

The richer and more famous of these folks have expensive media and image consultants to help them brand themselves and increase their value for endorsements.

For our part, we usually see what we want to see.

In most cases, there is an unspoken contract between the public and the star, to the effect that "You keep your private life out of the news and we won't care what you do in your free time. Just play your role on stage or the big screen or TV or the sports field and keep the rest to yourself."

Then, along comes a guy like Hernandez or Vick or any of a cadre of others, who makes us wonder, "Who exactly are these guys anyway?"

I continue to assume that most of them are decent, ordinary human beings...but I no longer invest myself emotionally in any of them...and I teach my kids to do the same.

The only exception to that is when I know someone who actually knows the individual and has had regular, personal or professional interactions with that person over a period of time (i.e., didn't just meet them at a bar or restaurant or in an airport), but that is rare.

Otherwise, I now think of NFL players as sports and media entertainers, whose personal lives are and should remain appropriately private.

An alleged murderer and we would be none the wiser. There's not much comfort to be drawn from now knowing that.

Giving Hernandez a $40m contract a few weeks after he allegedly murdered 2 people is not a good look for Kraft and the Hoodie. #PatriotWay.

Wow. That's probably one of the dumbest things that I've ever read. And I've read some pretty dumb things. If the Pats organisation knew about the double murders then of course it would look like uter **** for the organisation. But nothing at all, what so ever, null and nothing points to them having any idea that Hernandez was doing anything close to this.

Who is the greatest fool, the fool who tweets, or the fool who follows him on twitter?

Aaron Hernandez was like “when I go out I’m going out shooting, I don’t mean when I die, I mean when I go out to the clubs stupid”.
