With minicamp approaching, let's play the "Predict the JerseyNumbers" game:

Dominique Easley (DL) - ????
He wore 2 at Florida. Not many options here, all the numbers in the 90's have already been assigned and the only available numbers for DL are: 66, 69, 71 & 74. Maybe he will offer some $$$ to get a number he wants.

Jimmy Garoppolo (QB) - 10
Wore 10 at EIU He keeps his college number. The only easy prediction I have

Bryan Stork (C) - 66
Wore 52 at FSU. Nothing left in the 50's, I'll guess 66 to start.

James White (RB) - 21
Wore 20 in college. Closest number to his college number

Cameron Fleming (OT) - 74
Wore 73 at Stanford. Closest number to college number

Jon Halapio (OG) - 69
Wore 67 at Florida. No reason for 69 other than it's available and he's a guard.

Zach Moore (DL) - 71
Wore 90 at Concordia. He takes Seave Siliga's old number now that he switched to 96

Jemea Thomas (CB) - 28
Wore 14 at Georgia Tech - doubles it for NFL

Jeremy Gallon (WR) - 83
Wore 10 & 21 at Michigan. Unless Garappolo wants something other than his college number, Gallon takes over Deion's 83.

A few of the Free Agents:

Roy Finch (RB) - 29
Wore 22 at Oklahoma, the new LeGarrette Blount - only half the size....

Justin Jones (TE) - 88
Anyone 6'8" tall needs a long humber. Double infinity for the big fella.

Asa Watson (TE) - 42
Benjamin's brother takes half his old number 84.

Hoping 28 for White because 28 is great for RBs and terrible for DBs (as far as success goes). All the linemen numbers don't really matter because they'll all be duplicates that are changed in September.

Wouldn't Easley need to take a number in the 60s or 70s as a DL if all the 90s are taken? 66, 69, 71, 73, 74, 78 & 79 are all free currently.

Garoppolo to keep #10 is the only one I can think of at the minute. Zach Moore for #69 as DE just seems to fit.

Whoops - I forgot that DL can't wear numbers in the 50's. As of today, the only open numbers are: 66, 69, 71 & 74. Looks like he'll probably get a temporary jersey for pre-season until some cuts are made.

73 (John Hannah), 78 (Bruce Armstrong) and 79 (Jim Lee Hunt) are all retired.

Edited my original post above.

Good catch on the retired numbers. With how quickly the numbers within certain brackets are getting filled up there's probably going to be a fair amount of repeats throughout TC.

Man I hate that, they should be able to pick any free number they want to regardless of position. What a stupid idea that was for whoever came up with it.
