I think folks around here might like this pick quite a bit after watching this...

Takes good angles, fast and good open field tackler. Needed a safety for competition

We're not allowed to cite nfl.com draft profiles here

Summary instead:

Plays all db positions, led team in tackles, tackles for loss, 2 ints.

Covers punts.

Sacrifices body. Strong. Tough. Durable.

Him and Zach Moore, if they make the team, should be very helpful on special teams.

It seems that as of now, Moore and Thomas are competing with Bequette and Tavon Wilson.

You mean we can't post a link? How is this even possible? But, a'ight - no problem. Deleted.

My sincere apology
I was poking fun at the pole up their ass types who objected in the draft threads to posting nfl.com's draft round predictions and info for a player. Not at you. Thanks for your posts.

Thanks for the video. Hope his future plays as a Pat are similar to those in the video. :)

Wilson's days could be numbered.....I like Ebner alot on ST.

Belichick said he envisions Jamea Thomas (and also Logan Ryan) getting reps at both CB and safety this spring

his tackling reminds me of matt elam from florida who is on the ravens now, seems like a great developmental/key special teams player

That's interesting. I hate to use the word reach, but...
Are you calling Thomas a "reach" in the 6th? That's about where Draftek had him. CBSSports had him as a 3-4th rounder.

I think he meant Joyner. He almost had to as Joyner was a 2nd round pick but Thomas has it all over him in the measurements.

Well, in a highlights video everybody looks great , but still a late pick which means we have to be careful, but looks like a fine pick, instant upgrade over the likes of Chung, Gregory, Wilson, etc..

Lets hope between Harmon, Ryan and this dude we can find a gem to pair with McCourthy.

With the line improved and top cornerbacks, we are in a position to experiment at Safety.

Notice who he is beating for the ball. (Hint: Panthers took him in the 1st)

He's no Jimmy Ward but a decent looking prospect in round 6. We will have to see who has the better career - Ward or Easley. I hope they are both successful for sanity's sake. :)

Not many guys can tackle like that. Almost every time he makes as close to a perfect form tackle as you could ask for in a high speed game situation. This guy will be a special teams stud with some contention for reps here and there. He's got the physical tools and looks suited to play in rushing situations.

Guy can blitz too!
