are we allowed to criticize the picks? i won't anymore. i'll put my patriot blinders on.

Criticize away.

I can only repeat myself. I was not bagging on your opinion. I mistook your screen name for another, likely because I didn't look at it long enough. The name I confused yours with belongs to a fan of another team. I couldn't remember which team that person is a fan of, so I asked the question. I've already apologized for the error, so I don't know what more I can do.

From NFL.com
STRENGTHS
Has large hands and is strong for his size. Sacrifices his body and supports the run willingly; he likes contact. Takes good angles and understands run-game fits. Quietly confident. Mentally and physically tough. Good short-area zone awareness; reacting to throws in front of him is a strength. Tough and durable, will play hurt. Highly respected. Hardworking and accountable. Experienced four-year starter.

I like the sound of all of that.

Thomas was at the Shrine Game. More of a safety.

I'm not going to complain too much about this draft because the Patriots have attempted to address significant issues on the Offensive Line (Stork, Fleming, Halapio) and the Defensive Line (Easley, Moore) but not one selection of a Linebacker or Tight End? I hope the Patriots have a contingency plan in place for UDFA, trades or Free Agent signings because they've left two of their pressing four needs unaddressed.

According to CBS Big Board, Jamea Thomas was projected to go in the 3rd or 4th round.

Jemea Thomas - Slot Corner.. Likes Physical Play. Good (not great) change of direction skills, but compensates with excellent instincts..

I am not overly upset with this pick. He looks like a replacement for Arrington after this year. Can play all the spots but is at home in the star spot due to size. Has skill of a higher round guy but size knocked him down. I think he is a guy that will stick

Also kinda takes away the need for a coverage LB (though not against TE but that is Browners job) Sounds like he can stick with a RB or a slot WR though.

More of a SS than CB perhaps?

ranked #119 on the CBS board so it this considered a steal???

He's an Arrington type. The best DB and lots of experience at a decent school is not to be sniffed at at this point.

Looking like this draft will set us up nicely for the future. Probably won't get much help for next year though aside from the center.

Good luck with your smurfs and injury prone skill players TB12!

Thomas does sounds like replacement for Tavon Wilson though.

Thats what the beat reporters are tweeting right now.. that he can play SS as well..

sounds good for a six round pick tbh..
