TE got decimated. Couldn't believe Rodgers and Gilmore were drafted in the 3rd. I was totally expecting one of them to be there in the 4th or 5th.

Logan Thomas
Arthur Lynch
And dare I say it that monstrosity Lyerla
The only 3 left on my board.

Trey Burton with a 7th and Logan Thomas earlier if we can move him to TE

Prediction: Pats will select at least 1 of the following Trey Burton, Russell Bodine, Kevin Pierre Louis. They all seem like BB type players.

Wr and te pretty barren but plenty of good running backs and linebackers to choose from. To add to the list of guys not mentioned yet-

rb- kadeem carey, jerome smith, branden oliver

wr- jalen saunders, devin street, cody hoffman

te- marcel jensen(really want), xavier grimble

ol- chris burnette

dl- daquan jones(love this guy), calvin barnett, james gayle

lb-avery williamson, james morris

cb- all of the guys from florida

s-alden darby, hakeem smith

Also, I will be ecstatic if we get Seastrunk. He doesn't contribute to the passing game at all but he is the biggest homerun threat out of all the backs in this draft imho. Many guys I like left but Seastrunk and Daquan Jones are the last of the true binkies for me.

Can anyone break down our list of remaining picks?

Give me Andre Williams. He's 230lb and run a sub 4.6. Has all kind of production at BC. A good replacement for losing a hammer like Blount. Especially, if we don't trust Ridley near the goal line.

FOURTH ROUND
4th rounders make the 53. They always do unless they go to the IR. I don't see any 4th rounders at S or TE that will make the team, so I guess I don't see us picking there.

I think that there are THREE roster units that could get additions: RB, LB and OL.

SIXTH ROUND
Maybe one of these guys sticks; maybe more. I think the most likely to stay would be a FB upgrade to Develin or perhaps even a KR. We could take shots at safeties and tight ends who are top special teamers.

WILDCARD
We still could see Mallett traded. More likely is that he will get traded after the draft for 2015 conditional picks.

BOTTOM LINE
We should be adding 4 players who will likely make the 53 man roster. It is an important day.

Most of the top guys still available have already been mentioned and there is still a lot of talent left on the board. We do have a pretty large gap in picks between 140 and 198 so I can see another trade back, likely from 130 for a 5th and a 6th or 7th.

My top prospect left on the board is probably David Yankey and I would love him early in round 4. There is still so much talent left at RB that we can certainly get a contributor there with Andre Williams, Devonta Freeman, Ka'Deem Carey, Lache Seastrunk, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Tyler Gafney and Rajion neal just to name a few. WR still has some talent available depending on what you a looking for. Martavis Bryant and Brandon Coleman have great size and huge upside, Kevin Norwood and Devin Street seem like great scheme fits and someone like Bruce Ellington is pretty good value. There are still quite a few interesting OL with Tiny Richardson (I like him as an OG), Cyril Richardson, Cameron Fleming, Wesley Johnson and a bunch of other talented guys later on. TE has largely been decimated and I don't want to pick a JAG out of need. If we go TE I want to swing for the fences and go for Larry Webster or Logan Thomas, maybe even with that first pick in the 4th round.

On defense there is still a lot of talent also (I kind of wish we had more 4th round picks with some of the guys left). There are still a number of DT's left that could contribute mainly as role players to start but could develop into more. Justin Ellis, DeQuan Jones, Brent Urban, McCullers, Anthony Johnson, Carun Reid and DeAndre Coleman are all interesting as well as the later round guys like Zach Kerr. For pass rushers there is still James Gayle, Cassius Marsh, Jackson Jeffcoat, Taylor Hart and Adrian Hubbard. There are a ton of LBers with KPL, Bullough, Zumwalt, Christian Jones, Jordan Tripp, Telvin Smith and a bunch of others that interest me. And there are still some DB's I really like in particular Bashaud Breeland and Pierre Desir. Add in Keith McGill, Exum, Purifoy, Colvin, Vereen, Dowling, Dion Bailey, Loston, Ed Reynolds and Sunseri.

This is also not mentioning my biggest binky of the draft even though he has been overlooked because of injury, Trey Millard. Teams are built in rounds 4 through 7 and we are in a good position to help our team.

There's still interior line help, backup linebacker help, more pass rush, safety help, TEs...

I wouldn't mind seeing Yankey/Wentworth, Bradford, Smallwood/Tripp, Exum/Vereen/Bailey, Marsh/Urban, and the TE project du jour.

I found my pick #105 binky for today. He only needs to last for 5 more picks. He certainly wouldn't be a reach at least as ranked by CBS. He fills a definite team need at SS but is versatile enough to play elsewhere in the secondary. OK size for the position and decent measurable athleticism at the combine. I assume he has been thoroughly vetted, scouted and physically tested by his big brother for purposes of this nepotism selection:

Brock Vereen looks like a Patriots fit with the next pick.

From this point forward they will look for versatile character guys like this who BB covets or players playing one position in college who project to play other positions as pros. Fast undersized defensive ends can convert to pro linebackers. Interior linemen who can move around might fit too. An OK guard might convert into a very good center. This is where the scouts will earn their pay.

Another vote for Yankey and Zumwalt--guy knows his business (see my posting in the thread about interior line help).

Absolutely correct, sir.
