Tuitt's draft stock has been among those listed as taking the biggest hit since January. How far do you think this guy falls? Could he fall to the 3rd round?

I wouldn't imagine so, ripatsfan91. I think they are talking more of a slide from initial projections last month around 20-25-30 to more of something in the 45 (give or take 5 spots) range.

Agreed, he may be a target if they drop down 10 spots

Agree with both of your comments. When Nix went down last year year do to injury, Tuitt started seeing more double teams, or chip blocking from the tight ends and running backs. Never really got it going, and he showed he isn't ready to be a top 10-20 draft pick. However, he will not make it out of the second round. If the draft board falls right, he could be a late first round pick.

I don't see him getting out of the second round. He could be of some value to us at #62, if he drops that far.

I would not take Tuitt @ 29. I would take him at 62 in a heart beat though. The more I looked at him the more I see him as a true tweener which kind of hurts his stock.

Right now I rate him between 40-45

Being a true tweener is why I like him so much. I could see him playing 2-3 positions on the line in a 4-3 and he would be a good DE in a 3-4. I picture him becoming a Steeler, Raven or Packer for some reason, though.

I would say Tuiitt slipped well before January and then into March but has rebounded a bit based on his 2012 film and playing weight. I think bottom of the second is his floor but I expect he'll go in the middle of the 2nd.

I just thought there were too many questions about him with the 2013 tape, the weight issue, and now the foot injury. He hasn't been able to participate in any drills or workouts since january. Medical issue is my feeling why he will drop.

I hope Tuitt goes in the 1st round as it will push a better player down to us. I have little interest unless he is sitting there at 62. He just doesn't do anything to a 1st round standard for me. All his sacks seemed to come when he was unblocked. Solid against the run but where does he fit for us? I'm just not that impressed.

They ONLY reason Stephon Tuitt is in range of us is do to injurys and because of those bad 13 tape. Watch 2012 and see him dominate ppl. The guy is 20 still, got 12-13 good years in him. Patriots need a pass rusher outside as inside, he can do it all... Wanna play 3-4 fine, he plays the "seymour" roll.

Now, if only he could actually do it as well as Seymour did. That'd be a sight to see.
