I just refuse to take Kyle Fuller out he's just too good and will likely be there only because of the depth at corner and team needs ahead of us. I know with Browner and Revis it's less likely but I still feel Revis is at least a 50% chance of being a one year rental I also feel Fuller could play safety and move back to corner while getting experience for a year. I thought about Phillip Gaines who I think is going to be a plus corner in this league but I don't see him playing safety. Leaving out ASJ was hard as were some others.

Kyle Fuller
RaShede Hageman
Justin Ellis
Cody Latimer
Michael Campanaro
John Urschel
Logan Thomas

I don't want to derail this thread, but I can totally see this happening for the reasons you mention, plus the fact that Browner is missing weeks 1-4. If the Pats are going to make a surprise pick at #29 that isn't being hinted at currently (the way that WR is being hinted at), this would be my call.

Weston Richburg Colorado st
Louis Nix DT Notre Dame *preparing myself for disappointment.

And now, let the picks begin![/QUOTE]

I just wrote 11 names on a piece of paper, so I'll do this LIVE, and scratch 3 of them, LIVE :):

QB Logan Thomas
RB Bishop Sankey
RB Devonta Freeman
XXXXXXWR Brandin Cooks
WR Jarvis Landry
TE Arthur Lynch
TE Trey Burton
XXXXXXDT Dominique Easley
DT Shamar Stephen
XXXXXXOG David Yankey
OT Joel Bitonio

Since they MIGHT have to trade up in the 1st round for Easley, would have to trade up for Cooks, and might possibly have to trade up for Sankey, I'll cut those three, even though I think in an ideal world the Pats would love each of them. The remaining 8 are my skillful predictions.

1. LB/SS Ryan Shazier
2. DT/DE Stephon Tuitt
3. TE Troy Niklas
4. DE Jackson Jeffcoat
5. WR Brandon Coleman
6. LB Jordan Tripp
7. SS Antone Exum
8. DE Aaron Lynch

I'm not even going to attempt to guess which OL they'll be picking. These guys all seem like the perfect combination of need, value, and fit for the Pats. Of course I'll probably be 0-8.

OK, here we go....

Troy Niklas TE
Ego Ferguson DT
Cyril Richardson OG
Aaron Murray QB
De'Anthony Thomas RB, KR
Logan Thomas (to play TE)
Jonathan Dowling DB
and in a move up which will involve the trade of Mallet and Cannon: Mike Evans, WR

When does this close PC ? Can we add all the way up to the first round or should it close 1 day before?
Reason i ask is IF Mallett gonna be traded i could see that happend before the draft.

I imagine I'll lock down right before round 1. Even in the unlikely event that the number of picks the Patriots have changes before then, we'll keep the contest at 8 in fairness to those who were bold enough to commit early. (Not me, my list is still evolving!)

One unfortunate wrinkle is that the days before Mother's Day are generally my busiest work period of the year, so I may not be here much. In fact, I'll be lucky to even watch the draft!

Niklas - TE
CJ Fiedorowicz - TE

Welcome, one and all, to our annual exercise in communal humility and frustration! The rules are simple:

The Patriots have 8 draft picks. Name 8 players you think they might choose. The most hits wins.

That's it. If you want to approach this like a 7-round-mock, feel free. If you want to just name the 8 likeliest tight ends in order to get at least one pick right, well dagnabbit, that's fine too. Past experience has taught us that any positive score is an accomplishment, and a curly number is a triumph.

A note from your scorekeeper: Please, please try not to change your entries too often! And watch your spelling (and use full names) to make sure you get full credit for your brilliant prognostications.

And now, let the picks begin!

DE/OLB Jeremiah Attaochu, Georgia Tech
WR Brandon Coleman, Rutgers
RB Andre Williams, Boston College
DT Jay Bromley, Syracuse
C/OG Corey Linsley, Ohio State
QB Jeff Mathews, Cornell
LT Matt Patchen, Boston College
TE Rob Blanchflower, UMass
