What's the best way to buy tickets to away games?

Thanks in advance!

Stubhub or another ticket site. I bought jets-pats tix IN NY on stubhub for pretty cheap. The year they opened the new ****ty stadium.

Your lucky - I always get them from Stubhub - but I pay dearly ($200+/ticket) - worth every penny - I get SWEET seats - of course, I am talking Arrowhead, not some craphole in NY or NJ.

The best way to buy tix to away games is to see what date that team's home games go on sale at Ticketmaster for single game seats. The odds of finding something can be low, but I've lucked out several times by going on the site at 10:00am the day that the single game tix go on sale.

If you don't have any luck that way, you can comb through ticket broker sites. As mentioned before, our own PatsWickedPissah's nephew started a big, well-known brokering site called seatgeek.com. That site allows you to comb through ALL of the broker sites like stubhub, ticket city, ebay, etc to compare what prices and seats give you the best deal. I have used it myself and find it quite helpful.

On the road games I have gone to (Mia,SD,Oak,SF), I emailed the ticket office and asked if they set any tickets aside for away fans. SD,Oak and SF did, and purchased them directly. Doesn't hurt to try an email to ticket reps.

Interesting. I wonder if NE does that, too. Would they not sell if your billing address is local?

I'm thinking of making the trip up to Arrowhead this year. I've heard nothing but good things about it..

Some if not the best tailgating in the NFL. The stadium is going on 50 years but is really nice.

When ever I get secondary market tickets I go through them too, when they say 100% guarantee that mean it. I almost got screwed last year when I bought a couple of additional tickets for game 3 of the SCF last June. The idiot who put them on tub hub also put them on other sites and sold duplicates and basically first one to get it scanned won. After it didn't scan went back over to stub hub and they gave me two higher priced tickets without additional charge. I know they get the money back plus fees from the guy who sold duplicates. And sometimes cops get involved.

^^^same thing happens to my co worker. Got tix to Islanders-Pens game on LI last year. Tickets were already used...so stubhub gave him row 1 tix on the glass for free.

they still kept the money but gave a $100 gift card

Tell you guys what.

Anyone going to the NE vs KC game get with me if you want help with hotels or finding anything. I live here.

Basically, there are hotels out by the stadium but not much else other than gas stations and a Dennys.

I'm going to pats SD game this year at SD and they already have 5000 tix on the ticket exchange through ticket master.. I'm waiting until they sell tickets at 10AM whatever day that is.

When does that usually happen?

I'm probably going to the game in MIA this year but my friend already has season tix so that's easy. What I'm really excited about it going to the game in GB. That has long been on my list as the # 1 place I want to see a game before I croak. I've just assumed I'll use stubhub for that.

Nice. I am going to GB this year too. And either KC or SD.

Thanks for the all the good information! I've been to Buffalo twice over the past three-years. We only paid $165.00 for 40-yard line seats last year. We bought them off the Buffalo Bills web site from someone. We were behind the Patriots bench listening to Tom Brady giving our O-Line some words of encouragement.

It is a different day, depending on the specific team. Some teams have their single ticket sales for their home games on sale as early as April/May, while others wait until as late as the end of July like Baltimore does. Either way, it will fall in between now and the end of July, so you'll want to check with the SD Chargers and ask when their single game seats go on sale. You may be able to google it, but not all teams release their info that far in advance. I would definitely call and/or email the SD Chargers ticket office and ask them.

Hope this helps.

That was a must game for me also...until I double checked the calendar and realized it's the Sunday after Thanksgiving!

Your challenge with that one will be the hotel room.
