I'm heading to our weekend/vacation home. Getting away from the family and distractions. " To do some of the spring set-up things" (LOL) ;):D
I'm planning on firing up the TV and the computer and scope things out. Got to have the usual game day provisions on hand.

This will be the first time that I will be able to watch the draft with the NFL network. Which is better NFL Network or ESPN?

Do any of you make an"event" out of it?

I toggle back and forth between both usually depending on the subject; it keeps me from hating a specific “experts” more than the other.

Don't get ESPN here in the UK so I'll be NFL Networking it on computer. Just bought a nice new 27" Imac which will arrive this weekend so I'll get to watch it in style this year.

I find NFL Network to be much better. I just don't want to listen to ESPN blowhards. Really its the lesser of two evils. I wonder if Fox Sports 1 will be doing the draft.

One year I followed along on Twitter and Schefter had all the picks minutes before they were announced. Kind of ruined it for me so I just watch it on TV without any social media. I do visit this forum and post about the picks, too.

I don't like hearing about the pics before they are announced on the stage either.

Sky Sports are showing day 1 of the draft, so will be watching that then day 2 will be a stream and day 3 just checking NFL.com as the picks come in.

My friends and I use it as a reunion of sorts each year. Have friends from NC, Iowa, and Colorado heading to my place here in Kansas this year for 3 days of draft talk and a few frosty beverages.

I am going to be switching back and forth between the nfl network and espn. I want to be surprised when the pick is made as well. My pet peeve is when a team is up getting ready to make the pick, the network goes to a camera shot of a potential draftee talking on the phone to the team that is making the pick. Such a tease and a pain!!!

I tend to go back and forth between ESPN and the NFL network.

Usually I watch with my dad and brother. I will be having my laptop in hand with all my draft info and charts while using a list to mark off who is gone. Also I will most definitely be on here as I love the instant feedback. I find the opinions on here a lot better than those of the expert panels.

However I will avoid twitter like the plague. I don't want to know before it is announced.

Usually with my eyes ...

I paint my living room and have a race to see which happens first a Patriots first round pick or the paint drying.

The paint always wins.

ESPN and Twitter.

I don't watch it, now that they've changed the format.

I watch NFLN and use the DVR to watch it with a delay. That way I can fast forward through the commercials and any puff pieces I feel are useless. As much as I love the draft having kids its tough to donate the time it would require to watch it in real time.

I'm very fortunate. My wife takes the kids to her sisters for the weekend. I haven't missed a minute of a draft since 1984. I switch back and forth between NFL Network and ESPN. Stick with NFL network the most. I have all my draft guides downloaded on my computer and follow on twitter. It's the best sports weekend of the year for me. I know...it's a sickness.

Oh I forgot to mention. I also will have my hair done to look like Mel Kiper's

Switch between the 2 channels. Must admit, though I understand the ESPN hate, I love to watch the draft on ESPN. Love Boomer and Kiper, to me Kiper IS the draft. Don't agree with everything he says, but he knows his stuff. Also have my tablet with me, have Patsfans up and running, as well as the draft guide written by the guy who used to do it for Pro Football Weekly. Have some print draft guides as well. I usually fall asleep before the Pats make their moves (pick or trade) in the 1st round lol.

I don my my old Polk High School football jersey, shotgun a 30 pack Bush Lite and play Glory Days on continuous loop.
