Even though the Patriots were more of a 3/4 when he came out I wanted him.

If Philly truly wants to trade him, I think he fills one of our two highest needs with TE being the other.

I posted a thread today advocating for trading for either Graham or Zach Brown.

BB actually didn't pass on him, Graham was selected 13th overall. I think Brown is a better fit, but Graham is the better player. I don't know how he would fit as a 4-3 end but I would definitely want him! His motor is incredible and so is his strength. Reminds me a lot of Ninkovich.

Rotation of Chandler Jones, Nink, Graham, and Buchannan would solve our problems with Jones and Nink playing too many snaps.

I really loved him coming out of college (Michigan fan here), it really cant hurt to get another body into the rotation.

Thanks VCJPatriot, that was the link I read.

Just feel he is a major addition to this years team which can not be found elsewhere. Salary is 1.6 this year and 1.5 next year if I read this right.

I was hoping he might somehow slip to the Patriots the year he came out. Would be great if we could grab him now.

Because of Graham's short height & only average arm length, I thought during the 2010 draft that he would be better-suited as an OLB in a 3-4, so I was surprised when Philly (a 4-3 defense at the time) traded up for him. But after reading the link above, Chip & the DC appear to doubt his effectiveness in space. And after further research, I've come to the same conclusion.
So the question for me now is: would he fit here as a 4-3 DE, and at what cost? My quick answer is: I don't know, but I would trade Jake Bequette to Philly for the privilege of finding out.

Non story on a never gonna be event...but...carry on by all means
