Colin Kaepernick Investigated for Sexual Assault

I have stated if Colin is guilty than he needs to face the punishment that goes with the crime like any other person. However, SOME people dislike Colin for the reasons I stated so they aren't giving him the benefit of the doubt and some even hope the allegations are true so they can boast about how bad he is etc.

If you are referring to my post about an agenda you're wrong. I never brought up that he was disliked for his religion or anything.

I said his haters dislike him because of the following:

He is very confident which some see as arrogant.

He trademarked his pose

He does a touchdown celebration

He imitated Cam Newton's touchdown pose

He wore a Miami Dolphins hat

Because of his Tats

All of which has nothing to do with football. You want to slam him as a QB fine, but why because of his Tats, touchdown celebration, imitation of someone's touchdown pose, because he wore another team's hat. All of that seems trivial to me

I don't know what your issue is with me, but you have came to other threads like when I have commented on Tebow in the past and made similar comments in regards to religion, soap box agendas, and victimization. Which are not true.

You have the wrong dingle, my friend. I have been clear that I am a Tebow fan.

As for the Kaepernick thing, please go back and read the post by Brady 6. The Kaepernick "hate" has nothing to do with race or religion. Or tattoos, as you keep saying.

My issue? I have an issue with people who cry racial or religious persecution where it is not remotely warranted. The world has enough real persecution without trivializing it by looking for non-existent examples under every damn rock.

The Kaepernick "haters" here have said nothing about his race or tattoos. The soapbox brigade brought it up.

And I like Kaepernick!

Give me a few minutes and I can provide you links to threads where certain posters have stated that they don't like Colin because of his tats, he trademarked his pose, he imitated Cam's pose, he wore another team's hat etc. I never claimed anything in regards to people not liking him for his religion or anything in that realm.

Hey, I would be wicked pissed if Brady walked around happily wearing a Jets hat

Hey, I would be wicked pissed if Brady walked around happily wearing a Jets hat
I'd be more amazed than pissed. I don't think anyone has happily worn a Jets hat since the LBJ administration.

Was I the only one who saw this story on PFT and had the initial reaction of "Luckily its not a Patriot in the news"? I never want to live another off season like last years.

There are a few posters in the Colin wants 18m thread talk about their dislike for Colin because of his tattoos etc

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...king-going-down-same-path-tebowing-page7.html

Posters in the kaeperniking thread in here talk about his dislike for Colin because of kaperniking, trademarking, hat etc in.

In the Carolina Panther 49ers thread a poster talks about the lack of class Colin has because he imitated Cam Newton's touchdown pose.

Post #318 in the Wild card games thread Poster Bravo posts the following Kaep: "Hmm, I shouldn't wear long sleeves because I still want to show off my douchy tattoos..."

I NEVER CLAIMED THAT COLIN WAS HATED ON FOR his Religion. Religion has nothing to do with any of it. It is the reasons that I listed below for why Colin gets alot of flack on this board by some posters. So Dingleberry please read the the 4 threads linked and you'll see that Colin is hated for the following: because he trademarked his pose, he does a touchdown pose, he imitated Cam Newton's pose, he wore a Dolphins hat etc. If you need help I can pull out direct quotes from any of the 4 threads linked that prove my point that the 6 reasons below are why he gets alot of flack.

Reasons for the Colin dislike by some:
1)He is very confident which some see as arrogant.

2)He trademarked his pose

3)He does a touchdown celebration

4)He imitated Cam Newton's touchdown pose

5)He wore a Miami Dolphins hat

6)Because of his Tats

He's disliked for the 6 reasons listed and they have nothing to do with football, Religion, or anything in that realm.

Does it really matter? There is excessive emphasis on player’s race on this board lately. I really do not see any relevance to what race he is, his parent’s race, or how they raised him.

If he wants to be one of the all-time great QBs he needs to be a leader, nobody looks at him as a leader currently. He is immature, arrogant, selfish, and unappreciative, essentially he is an anti-leader at this point.

This case aside, (whether it is real or BS) he needs to shape up.

I just stated he was mixed because some poster needed clarification in that realm.

Brady6, do not speak for everyone with YOUR OPINION by saying that NOBODY looks at him as a leader. You and some of the others may feel that way. However, don't go around acting like every person on earth shares your opinion on Colin because they all don't. Some share your opinion Brady6 and some don't don't. The same goes for my opinion.

I think he's been a great leader for his team and so do some people. Also I don't feel he's selfish, immature unappreciative etc.

I am concerned with these new allegations that have came to light recently, not any of the other irrelevant petty bologna like trademarking, wearing other teams hats, touchdown poses, tattoos etc.

Anyways we will have to agree to disagree here.

too late...the Kaep's out of the bag....

I certainly don't want to put words in your mouth. But are you saying that Kaepernik is guilty since someone reported these allegations that haven't even been investigated?

are you talking to me joker?

It's not too late Police have to investigate these allegations and act according to the results of the finished investigation.

I have said many times in this thread that "IF" he's guilty than he will need to face the consequences for his actions if the allegations are true.

Different media reports reporting different things. I don't know which reports are true in regards to the allegations.

Are we not going to wait until the allegations are fully investigated or do we just jump and say its true time to convict and move on?

If the allegations are true than the disgust with Kaepernik would be warranted.
However, the old reasons why people disliked him were petty: I mean tattoos, kaeperniking, trademarking, wearing another teams hat etc

As much as I don't like Kaepernick, he is innocent until proven guilty. I'm not saying all sexual assault cases are false but, sometimes people lie in order to get a payday.

Read the police report before you say she may be lying for money. For starters she hasn't cried rape yet she woke up at the hospital and doesnt know if she was assaulted....regardless she was drugged and every action by the guys known so far is suspicious as hell.

I have to give you alot of credit for this post. Despite the fact that you don't like Colin for petty reasons like his tattoos. I commend you for atleast being fair in this case saying innocent till proven guilty.

I hope the allegations aren't true. But hope and reality are 2 different things. I will wait to see how the investigation turns out.
If innocent than his name should be cleared.

If he's guilty then he needs to pay for the crime. I do not condone sexual assault from anyone.

If this is true, nothing probably will happen to Kaepernick. She knows she didn't have sex that night, and says she doesn't remember the events of that night.

I meant the part where they were all smoking weed

Despite the fact that you don't like Colin for petty reasons like his tattoos.

One could say you like him for a petty reason like his professing to be a Christian.

I'll wait until the facts come out.

If he did anything like this, he should face the consequences. If he didn't, he doesn't deserve to have his reputation smeared.

I actually like the way Colin plays football and know he's a double threat in the sport in terms of his running/ throwing. So you need to stop going around and acting like you know why I like who I do. You seem to want to follow me around the board and poke at me for no good reason. If you are going to continue this than I ask you put me on ignore.

I actually like him because of his play but severely dislike him because of his personality.

You've gone at length to defend him and also referred to him as "your Christian brother", it seems to me that people get a bunch of extra points with you if they claim to be a Christian, which actually seems very unChristian to me, I think Jesus would judge people on what they do without regard to what label they attach to themselves. Would you defend an atheist as staunchly as you defend Kaepernick?

And no, I'm not going to put you on ignore, if you're parading around, advertising that you're a Christian you should expect people to call you on it. You want to have your cake and eat it too, it doesn't work that way.

In my experience where there is smoke, there is fire. The fact is that Kaepernick should not have put himself in the position where he could be mentioned in connection with a sexual assault.

The comparisons to the Edelman situation is absurd, Edelman was accused of groping a woman in a crowed bar as he walked by, he was targeted in a public place by someone he was not with and had no connection to. Kaepernick is being investigated in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in an apartment where he was, and the accuser stated they had a sexual relationship. Add to that the accusations of drug use. This is not the behavior of a franchise QB, and certainly not the behavior of a leader.

Best case scenario he was in an apartment getting drunk, smoking weed, and undressing a highly intoxicated woman.

You never liked him so you will say he's not a leader. You have always said it before, so of course you continue to say it now. There is no best case scenario in this case until the investigation is complete. You don't think he's a leader, well fine don't follow that team. I will wait until the investigation is complete before I judge.
