DeSean Jackson Released by Eagles [update]: Signed by Washington

Maybe he was a spoiled brat who wanted to whine about not having his way, his big contract, any time he was on the field not getting throws...actually, I saw 2 or 3 Eagles games where he actually tantrummed on the field. Not my definition of vet leadership. Most leadership is by example, no?

He would have been the voice.
Shady McCoy isn't that kinda guy.
Like it or not Jackson greased the wheel of that offense.

One of us took the time to actually read the information. That would be me.

One of us apparently didn't. That would be you.

Oh, and Belichick and Kraft were known to spend time with a guy named Hernandez, so the notion that hanging out with murderers is some end-all is an absurd one.

I read the information. I guess all the big words threw you off.

They didn't hang out with him AFTER he was a known murderer. Only a fool would not pick up on that key fact. That fool is you. As soon as he was involved they CUT him. They cut him before he was even charged with murder. They didnt make tshirts saying "free hernandez". Key difference.

Jackson hangs out with his murderer/gangster friend while he's in jail awaiting trial. Guess you didn't read that far. Or maybe you just lack comprehension skills.

Oh I thought it was the coach and coordinators...well, he'll have a new gig now, cause the guy who actually greases the wheels of the Eagles offense just dropped him hard. Willing to eat what? $6 million? That's some serious degreasing right there.

OK.
Well Reid wants to bring him to KC.
Far cry from gang banging.
The Pats have had plenty players miss practices and meetings.
Reid wants to bring him to kc. So all stories of immaturity, hanging out with known gang members on trial for murder, me first prima Donna attitude are false. That's logical.

Yep, and we'll see how Philly does this year.
Sometimes fear of losing your locker room cause you're a second year HC trumps losing your stud WR.
Miracles have happened before.
Chip is looking for 1 now.

Well seeing as you know him better than Reid does, you should answer that question.
Not sure why Reid would be so receptive of bringing a distraction to his team.

Haha. I'm sure that thinking goes over well with the higher ups.

I'm actually more excited for the Eagles offense now with Sproles (who's a vet by the way) in the mix. Kelly will have a good year for that crew I hope,

I read the story, and I've read a whole lot more. As I said, you apparently didn't. It's nice that you went back and browsed it after getting called out, though. You still don't really seem to know what you're talking about, and your post is still ignorant, since Shakir was found not guilty of murder and Binns is in prison, which makes hanging out a bit difficult, but it's a start.

Sproles is done. Philly won't make playoffs this year. Jackson took the top off of defenses. They don't have that now.
Chip will be a footnote in 2 years.

Desean Jackson released

Yeah, so you say. I do want to say though, at the nfl level if you are dependent on a wideout for success, that's not really an nfl team.

Edited for Philly due to a good point. I'll stick with the above statement.

Which current players?

He's talented. Belichick picked up Haynesworth, does that make him less a jerk?

Reid probably figures he can get the baby to act like an adult for a while by telling him how much he loves him, not like that mean Kelly guy.

There's no doubt he's talented, but in the long run tantrums, giving back multiple long plays with stupid taunting and excessive celebration penalties, missing meetings etc, is counter to team success. Of course at his age and weight, Reids not looking for the long run and figures he knows him well enough to know when to cut his ass again.

I don't know of any current players, but Moss, and Spikes come to mind off hand.

Missing meetings, and being affiliated with a gang is beyond an absurd statement.
That's what I was getting at.

Pats haven't always had a WR that took the top off and were just fine.

We have Tom Brady

Reid brought in Terrell Owens and after one strong year, it completely blew up in his face.

Some teams/coaches are much more willing to bring in distractions than the Patriots are. Maybe that's one of the many reasons behind the Patriots' success.

I prefer Baby to Gang banging thug. At least the name calling has tamed a bit. With the criteria people are using me and most people from my neighborhood are all thugs and punks.

Also again? Reid never cut him.

Think he meant getting released a 2nd time in general...

Thanks for making my point. I liked Spikes and he was focused and passionate on the field, but BB had enough and he's gone.

Imagine if Jackson made a nice play like this, then wiped it out with his usual idiocy. Would BB's head explode?

Strange rule explained, if you're curious, but the bottom line is the replayed the down from the 2 yard line! He lost over 50 yds for being an idiot.

What routes and balls did chip run or catch last year?
