I think he cut Hernandez the minute he was arrested because the entire situation had become a circus and the handling of the situation by Hernandez was about as poor as possible. Had there been a legitimate question that Hernandez was guilty of wrong doing on some level the team may have taken a different approach.

If Jackson is not a Crip gang member, what is he doing flashing gang signs during a televised professional football game and also flashing the gang sign on Instagram. Not to mention the record company he owns is named Jaccpot Records?!

Crosson said, however, the Jackson routinely flashes Crip gang signs in photos on social media -- and even on television during an NFL game.

"You don't want to see anybody throwing up gang signs like he did in the Redskins game last year," Crosson said. "Those were neighborhood Crip gang signs and he flashed them during a game. He may not be affiliated with the gang, but they don't [ordinarily] take kindly to those not in the gang throwing up those gang signs."

Last season, Jackson appeared to throw up the hand gesture in the face of Washington Redskins defensive back DeAngelo Hall after a reception in the Eagles' season-opener. Jackson also can be seen contorting his fingers to make a "C" -- another Crips sign -- in a music video he shot with former fellow Poly High student Snoop Dogg. Jackson flashed it yet again while wearing an Anaheim Angels hat on Instagram.

Hernandez has ruined any chance we get him.

Not that I care, I still feel we should have got the other Jackson, the one who was in SD and now TB. You guys hated him, so no reason you should support a young punk who reps crips.

We shouldn't let Hernandez continue to affect our franchise.

If anything, signing Jackson for a 1 year deal which can motivate him to prove he's not a problem. And what better way to do it in New England where it's almost guaranteed he'd put on a show, possibly win a SuperBowl, increase his value, then get paid big time by another team next off-season.

DeSean Jackson will be a Patriot...

Right now his market has tanked thanks to Philadelphia's smear campaign. There will be no better value than Jackson for a one year 5 million dollar prove it deal. Hernandez should not factor in if the money is too good to pass up. Everyone claims it won't happen so expect this outcome.

Jackson will not be a Patriot and he will not sign a one year deal for $5M. He will get a blockbuster deal from a team like the Jets.

Prove what? He just had a career year, there's nothing he needs to prove.

He's had no arrests since being in the league or any suspensions, he's gang affiliation was known before this happened so it's not like no one knew.

I'd be absolutely shocked if he took anything less then a 4 year deal with at minimum 8 mill/ year.
