1977, in Foxboro, against Buffalo... with my dad; I was 16. Up in the cheap seats in front of five yahoos yelling, "Lets go Buff-a-lo" all game, and drunk out of their minds. We thought we had a great chance to win that day... OJ was out, and the Bills had to play some clown named Roland Hooks.

Who ran for 157 yards. Grogan threw 4 picks, and the Pats lost 24-14. Wasn't really that close. Only highlight: a Ray Clay KO return for a TD. Still a fun day with dad. :)

And you?

I may have attended an exhibition game in 1960 but I definitely attended
their very first regular season game on 9/9/1960. I had a heck of a time
finding a parking spot.

The Patriots lost on a last minute field goal. The Patriots' defensive back went for an interception which turned into a long yardage completion.

Pats Jets 1966. Fenway Park. Babe Parilli led them to a 24-24 tie. I was sitting with my Dad six rows back behind Peskys pole.

Pats/Donks 2008. Cassel was playing and we kicked ass.

Saw Houston with Hennigan & Groman smoke us @ Harvard stadium in the 60s
Saw SD with Lance Alworth destroy us @ Fenway Park in the 60s
Saw Cookie Ghilcrist & the Bills lose to us @ Fenway Park playoff Dec 63
Saw Joe Namath's debut in a pre-season game @ Lowell stadium in 1965

I predict you're the thread winner!
You geezer!!!

Opening day 1975, Bum Phillips coaching debut for the Oilers. They beat the Pats 7-0 in a driving rainstorm with the only TD coming on a fumble recovery.....

Ah, great question. Being from NY, I saw the Patriots live for the first time in 1977 or 1978 in NY (Shea Stadium). Pats won, and Mike Haynes intercepted the ball right in front of where I was sitting. It was real exciting. My first Patriot's game in New England was Sept 9th 1979 at Shaefer Stadium in Foxboro. It was an insane game. Saw it with my family, who were all Jet's fans. The Pats beat the Jets 56-3 !! 8 touchdown drives, Grogan, Morgan, Francis, Harold Jackson, Sam Cunningham, they were all on fire ! Still stands as the biggest Jet's loss ever.

One cool thing was, since we bought tickets from the Pats via mail, every year the Pats would send me a newsletter that discussed the offseason and gave write ups of every draft choice. I think I got these for almost 10 years. I guess the precursor to PFW.

Still waiting. May never...

The 92 buffalo home game. I was 19. Absolutely brutal.

My first game was the 'call the national guard' game.

Don't remember the year, but it was vs the Cards at old Gillette and it was drew vs boomer esiason. We crushed them and I remember the fans getting under boomer skin with chants of BoooooooooMer!!

London 2012. Same as my last game.... for now.

It was 1991, I was in high school, and I saw Hugh Millen lead the Pats to a victory over Buffalo. The following year I saw them lose to the 49ers. That was my last in person game. I'd like to get to Gillette someday.

Wasn't a fan of the London games but I'm now glad the bro from Scotland got to see a game in analog reality. Freedom!!!

"And would you be willing to trade all the days, from this day to that, for once chance, just one chance, to tell our enemies, that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our opportunity to see the Patriots live!"

Opening Day of the new Gillette Stadium. B-2 bomber pass by, was cool!

I was in elementary school and my Dad took me to that game at BU field.. Butch Songin and Frank Tripucka were the QBs for the Pats and Broncos, respectively.
